Pursuit/Crash US-412 Madison/Washington Co Arkansas State Police Troop L, Traffic Series Ep. 1031 

L-40's incident report: "On 6-28-24 at approximately 01:08am I was notified by dispatch that Madison County Sheriffs Office was in pursuit of a green Chevrolet Silverado westbound on Hwy 412 approaching Washington County and requested our assistance. I assumed primary in the pursuit starting at Hwy 412 near Knob Hill Loop, and Trooper Matthew Walker was secondary. The suspect continued traveling west on Hwy 412 at approximately 100mph. I attempted several times to position my vehicle for a tactical vehicle intervention (TVI) and the suspect would cut me off. The suspect braked checked me and turned around on Hwy 412 near Fawn Rd and began traveling eastbound. Trooper Walker then became primary in the pursuit, and attempted a TVI which was unsuccessful. The pursuit continued eastbound at speeds of 110 miles per hour. The suspect began to travel in the westbound lanes while traveling eastbound. The suspect attempted to conduct a left turn at the intersection of Sonora Road and Hwy 412 and lost control of the vehicle colliding with a utility pole. The suspect later exited the vehicle and began to flee on foot northbound on Sonora Road. Corporal Billy Martin attempted to Tase the suspect, but the Taser was ineffective. Corporal Billy Martin grounded his Taser and took the suspect to the ground. The suspect was later taken into custody without further incident. The suspect who was identified as Berry Reynolds was transported by Madison County Sheriffs Office to the Madison County Detention Center."

My brother started that pursuit, glad I was able to watch it.

Oh yeah. Next time you all are in the Lowell area and need to get to Sonora, fast. Turn onto 264, go to Luper, from Luper to 91 and from 91 to 93. It brings you out right at the light in Sonora. Probably would have lessened your drive time but a good15 to 20 minutes.

Im in school so no day job lol 😊 and I'm studying psychological human behaviors, along with mental, emotional, and physical cue's to profiling people. Some just don't have the ability to read people so this behavior goes right over their heads. In fact we communicate more through our body language then we do words.

Ok, I get it. At least a dozen officers and not 1 can run down that slow suspect to catch him, all the troopers hesitated and someone said the dog. Trust me the dog was not needed in this situation, the guy didn’t run like a track star. This is an example where they teach the suspect a lesson by using a dog when it’s not needed. Guy had no weapons and he ran slower than my grandma, and he was apprehended 20 yards from the crash site. So was the dog really, really, really needed?

They should have left the dog in the car. He was useless. 27 years an LEO never seen a dog that untrained.
