Trp. G. Taylor (D-33) intercepts a pursuit out of St. Francis County on Interstate 40 headed west toward Prairie County. Hazen Police Chief B. Taylor (201) assists his Son (D-33) in the pursuit.
That Charger flew in like an F-15, rocked his wings to show his missile loadout, and the 300 got the point. This is one of the best chase videos I've ever watched. Also this Father and Son duo make a helluva good team.
I totally agree that it's quite refreshing to see a dad-son team work together like this. In a society where so many Dass and sons don't even know or see each other, here's a son who respected Dad's way of life so much that he patterned his own choice of occupation .. Pretty awesome stuff. Congrats to Dad for being a real dad, and kudos to the son for growing up to be a man. You can both be very proud. And thank you both for your service. Blessings to each of you.
@@blj4552 any evidence/proof of that anywhere? Nearly all of these “special” patrol cars end up being myth but if it’s really a Scat that’s pretty amazing (though it looked slow in the video)
@@S8ER It's not exactly hard proof per se, but that is 100% the 6.4 engine exhaust note we hear in this video. It's the same car from a different video, also involving Hazen PD where you hear this same car pass an ASP car pegged at 130 mph. It just flies by at over 150 like the ASP car was parked. When you've heard the 5.7 hemi engine sound and the 6.4 hemi sounds, it is pretty clear when you're hearing the larger 6.4, which is the scat pack engine.
That was something. That dark patrol came in like an F-16 landing beside a Cessna 150. I think the suspects were so surprised they thought better shut it down before we're upside down in the ditch.. Okay, I am going out on a limb and say this may be the best ASP video yet.
I do believe dear ol Chief Dad wasnt going to let anything happen to his boy. Even if he was ASP... Poppa was FLYING to get be secondary! That man was intense!
@@tyjahnjones4929 do you know where you can find info on this? That didn’t appear to be scat level performance but I’m seeing a lot of comments about this car being a 6.4.
Scatpacks are no joke- rollin at 150 like its no big deal. Then slows down to 130.... when he put his foot in it again then thing just took off. Love the sound-
Ok, that Hazen PD unit has a beast of an engine in it! Not only did it blow past 150mph, but the rate of acceleration is insane! That is the car they need to be chasing the "undefeated black charger" with. I am not sure what engine is in that car, but it is vicious! The 300 recognized how bad his day was about to get and did the smartest thing he could have done in that moment. Damn, that engine though! I'd be interested to see the numbers if they ever decided to dyno that unit! He closed the gap like they were tied to a stump! That torque was on full display!
Man I have to say hearing that Hazen Chief of Police vehicle when he passed the Trooper which was his son, it almost seemed as if the perp was "like nope we done" was nice to see. Pop's took command of the situation and made it very easy for all involved. I caught a glimpse of his speed at one point (pops) it was at 151mph, that is scary fast and it seemed he had more loud pedal left. Good job by all involved smooth arrest and no injuries to all involved. If Trooper Taylor turns out half as good as his father he will be an amazing LEO.
Son of a gun! I saw 152 & was like whoaaaaaaa you get ‘em!! That old Chrysler was like okay we can’t outrun them, so let’s just pull it over before they pit the hell outta us. That was awesome to watch!! 💙🖤💙🖤💙🖤💙🖤💙
Must have been a v6 in that Chrysler, the hemi's are much faster. Funny, years ago if you were on an interstate out west everyone was running 120 or better and no one batted an eye.
8:17 I’m impressed at how fast the police cruisers can drive(of course with great skilled cops behind the wheel). Not only the pursuit Charger but also the much taller Ford Explorer suv. They kept up with that Chrysler 300. That Ford did a 0-100 in mere seconds from when he was parked on the shoulder and caught up with the suspect who was already flying at over 113 mph at the time.
Watched this on another channel, and was blown away, during several viewings! that Hazen Airlines jetting in was a visceral rush. NST again brought so much more to the story - thank you. Seeing that run from his front seat ... and knowing professional dad, and dad dad, was that remarkable support and how he directed the other LEOs there - makes it richer. Bet each said "that's my dad" and "that's my son" with pride. Glad no one injured. Yowza!!
Thats how a Scat makes an entrance!! Daddy coming in with the big V8 Scat to take over and the best part is him taunting the 300 like he was saying... you wanna go bro? Lets go!! 300 said nsaw im good and pulled over lol!
We have a drug issue into Memphis with thug problems coming out. We have craziness on 40 all the way to Texarkana. God bless our men in blue. How they served this state during and after the tornado 3/31 was epic.❤
Thanks, tough working for Officers: & no injuries , etc…….. appears good training , decisions & judgements worked out…….not to mention the HAZEN MOPAR drive, etc..
Arkansas really trains their LEOs very well. I can't fathom being required to put my life on the line by driving the speeds LEOs have to do to catch people on the run. Thank G-D for the many LEOs who do put their lives on the line every day.
201's ICC (GPS: Ludacris Speed MPH).....that Scatpack rumble scared the 300 driver into submission.....then his legs got wabbly! LOL Awesome job ASP & Hazen Chief for assisting your boy! Awesome job NST, more to this story than other channels.
Impressive speed and that dude knew he wasn’t getting away. Dad’s gotta Hemi 6.4 under the hood. I didn’t hear a SC whining, otherwise it would have been a Hellcat.
153 is slow for a scat and certainly slow for a hellcat. A 5.7 can do that without a limiter though. A Scat would have accelerated much much quicker and pushed past 170mph. This looks like a 5.7L without the 130 limiter.
@@S8ER thats a Scatpack. I had a 5.7 and traded it in on a SP- the 5.7 surely doesn't sound like that. Or pull that hard from 130 to 150. The 5.7 bone stock was pretty well maxed at 150. Ive had the 6.4 up to 160- and I have 3.9 gears.
To everyone in the comments section his Dad was in a Scatpack Charger pursuit that can easily achieve 180mph but he kept it at 150 ish cause there was no need to max it out 🤣
Guy had zero respect for that explorer catching him. Dad shows up beside him in a real patrol car and he gave up.....imagine that lol. I can just picture the oh shit where did he come from so quick look on his face lol.
It blows my mind every time!! Like, is it not the law to pull over to the right when ANY emergency vehicle is behind you with the lights and sirens going?! I friggin' hope the same idiots who don't pull over for the cops have sense enough to pull over for a goddamn ambulance.
Cops don't enforce it enough. You're supposed to travel in the right lane and use the leftt lane for passing, not supposed to linger in the left lane. This applies to two lane freeways. People are ignorant of traffic rules and curtesy's, since most states took driver ed out of schools and you don't have to retake written test when up for renewal.
