Pursuit/Crash AR-228 Mountain Pine Garland Co Arkansas State Police Troop K, Traffic Series Ep. 984 

K-14's incident report: "On 6/2/24 at approximately 1:27 pm I, Trp. Rideout #359, was dispatched to a vehicle pursuit involving Hot Springs Village PD in which they requested my assistance. At this time, I initiated my emergency lights and sirens and drove to the pursuit. I observed the pursuit traveling South on State Highway 227 north as I was traveling north on State Highway 227. I was able to make U-turn and catch up to the pursuit near the intersection of 227 and Blakely Dam Road. The suspect then turned right on Blakely Dam Road where I was able to take primary near Mountain Pine High School. The suspect continued down Blakely Dam Road for approximately one mile when the suspect failed to negotiate a curve. The suspect's vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck Blakely Dam. The suspect's vehicle came to an immediate rest after impact. The suspect was then ordered out of the car and took into custody, by Hot Springs Village Police officers, without further incident. The suspect was identified as Harry Polston w/m 2/8/62. Hot Springs Village Police transported Polston to the Garland County Detention Center and charged him accordingly."

I must say having watched a number of these pursuit vids, I’ve gotten to see much of the Arkansas geography. I think it’s such a beautiful part of the country, especially the backwoods and areas out of the cities.

Well that was anticlimactic, but I suspect the mere sight of ASP in the rear view mirrors was enough to cause this guy to wreck. He was perfectly happy to have Hot Springs Village in back of him, But he apparently had an awakening.

I have to give it up to the local PD Trooper Rideout did a good job this was a team effort the Arkansas State Police and NST

You can hear that Rideout has his siren on, but it isn't indicated (green) on the dash cam. Hope they fixed that.

that was a very pretty drive except for all the hollerin and cussin at the end

I'm glad they got him but that was the slowest chase I've seen in a while, then the guy loses control at 44 mph.😂

i hate arkansas with a passion but i will say they have good police officers very helpful and do their job great
