The Push and Test rooms have been exploring thanks to the beta and alpha discoveries in the last few years. There are several interesting animations, enemies, sprites and objects found in them and this video covers every room and their contents.

I know that some time has passed but I hope you can read this comment, without a doubt these videos do total honor to this phenomenal saga, I hope I can continue to see more videos from you, the hylden have always been incredibly interesting to me, I look forward to some day doing a video about them, keep up the excellent work and keeping the legacy of kain!

I first read about the push and test rooms year's ago on the legacy of kain lost world's website. It's good seeing it in video after all these year's.

interesting how the knife animation was reused for the sword attacks on Soul Reaver 2, wonder if there are more reused animations on the sequels, anyways great video as always!

I believe push1 is only exclusive on PC for retail releases versions of Soul Reaver. I've gone through my PlayStation EU retail release and push1 wasn't on it. Also, as always, another great video from you Raina and Baz. I'm glad someone had gone through the push and test rooms in detail.

That is correct, push 1 is only found in the retail release of the pc version, not ps1. Glad you enjoy the videos! :D

Cool that there are tests featuring "revived" versions of enemies. I really never noticed the blue sparkles on them during my playthroughs. Is there any major difference between revived and non-revived versions besides the particle effect?

The revived vampires have the soul siphon ability. After hitting you once, they could drain Raziel´s soul energy until he severed the link. At one stage, even Zephon had it before they removed it.

8:43 Baziel said that the Wraith Blade only appears as a weapon in the Spectral Realm, but is that because you naturally lost health before picking it up and the Wraith Blade is adhering to its 'no Wraith Blade at full health' rule? Great video, btw!

I think it is just a bug. The game thinks you have the blade for some reason so Raziel runs like he has it even though the flag for it has not been activated. Thanks a lot! :)

Nice video as allways. Nice to see that the LoK community is still alive. I wonder if they ever bring it back (I hope so). I still think they want to make new ones. They removed soul reaver from the steam shop for updates. I wonder what updates they want to make for a game older then 20 years and for what reason?

Thanks! 👍 They are adding DirectX wrappers so it runs on win10 and removing bink video support.

I don't know if you know this Shadow Man remastered is out and it has a similar Dark theme just like Soul Reaver and it will be cool if you covered it on your Channel anyway love the vids man I'm glad that there's people that like these classic games ✌😎✌❤❤❤

Thanks for the tip! Unfortunately, I have never played Shadowman when it came out originally, so I do not know much about it. I was too busy drooling over Soul Reaver at the time... xD
