I always thought you only clear the sample if you plan on releasing it through an album/mixtape. So when Kanye was picking and choosing songs at the last minute to be put on the album, I thought the samples had to clear before it can be released. I didn't know you could buy the samples up front.

I like it's only 7 tracks. All these rappers put out "full albums" but like most those albums got 2 or 3 good songs and the other 12 to 15 records are trash. They just put them in as "filler" songs.

I grew up listening to hip hop but I find it difficult to connect to some rappers, I saw when Pusha T came to the scene with his brother. Pusha T has evolved as a fine man who speaks extremely well with such fluency and articulation. I now have an appreciation of the fine things in life and this fine gentleman has earned my respect, he looks happy, young and healthy. Well done Pusha T.

7 is a good number because its just about close to the time your mind spends being intrigued by something. Its a comfortable number, so it makes you feel like you can listen to the whole thing. kinda like videos on youtube, usually 7 min is pretty good nowadays ;) like not too short and not too long.
