People who lives/lived that life knows what I’m saying: those movie are depicting the criminal/drugs underworld perfectly to the point that they makes me uncomfortable reminding me some bad times....
One of My Favorite Movies of all time and i love this opening title. Its so intense, it sets up the movie perfectly. There are few movies that have the same raw energy and brutal realism that the Pusher Series has. Thank you so much for uploading this
+nohOn* Damn right! I'm from Macedonia, and I saw Pusher-1 about 15 years ago, it was running on a TV, and it literally blew me away! 'Cause when it comes to films on such subjects, rare are the ones that are really good, that come from Europe. The other good ones mainly come from America, but the things we see in those films are simply either far fetched, or even if they're down to earth, still, the situations in them are totally different from what we're experiencing here, in Europe. And even though there's also a huge difference between the Balkans and the Scandinavia, still, when it comes to these subjects, the world of drugs, Pusher paints a great portrait. So, afterwards, I've found out everything about it, saw the 2nd and 3rd installment, and from then on, I've never missed any REFN film. Of course, the very top is reserved for Valhalla Rising, but still, there's something special in the Pusher trilogy that is close to my heart! Have my regards man...
***** I have watched ALL REFN's film! And have them in my personal collection. Thus, I don't know why you insist so much on Bleeder, 'cause even though it's quite good, I still find it on a lower level than his other films like the Pusher trilogy, Bronson, Only God...and of course, his biggest master-piece, Valhalla Rising!
@@klarakent228 Frank being hunted from all sides, him being penniless, Milo laying down a plastic sheet for his body and the camera spinning around him to signify being lost and hopeless… I think he died lol
@@lebinski In the 2nd movie Milo asked Tony haven't he seen Frank. Frank's girlfriend had done him a favour stealing his money, so he didn't come to Milo for a certain death
@ShakaZulu I think the conversation was purposely kinda vague to not detract from the ending of the first film. While yes it's very likely Frank would die, the movies purposely were left open ended. Frank's fate is always subject to debate
@@TxxT33 Pusher is the only movie trilogy where I can't pick my favourite... my pick changes from time to time depending on my mood and life sutiation. Guess it says a lot about the quality of the films.
goddamn this song rocks as the trilogy itself , a really big surprise for me when i buyed it in DVD without any feedback on the movie . We really need a third opus !
Have you seen anything from Shane Meadows eg. This is England? Or guy Ritchie, lock stock and 2 smoking barrels? Also recommend Takeshi Kitano eg. Violent cop. Maybe not exactly same vibes but this movie reminded me of them.
The rythm and the energy of the 3rd part is actually crazy. Most of the films happened just in one night, and the last shot at the morning with Milo watching his empty pool is so powerful as an ending.
@@the_henchman4268 Nahhhh - they all work so well as a trilogy that I think it’s wrong to say any one is better than the other, they’re masterpieces in their own right. These films aren’t meant to compete with each other, they’re meant to fit neatly together in our tastes. I’ve never in my life come across a trilogy that’s so perfect and doesn’t feel out of place, many sequels end up being garbage but all 3 films were brilliant.
