Fun fact: Vice City's release date (2002) is now closer to the year 1986 (where it was supposed to take place.) Than our year 2020 where we live today.
Fun fact. The game was set in 86 which you would think is a long time from it’s release but if you were actually born in 1986 you would still need your parents to buy it for you in 2002
I'll make you feel older. This game was made in 2002 and it took place in 1986. That's a 16 year difference. If this was made in 2021, and it took place 16 years ago, it would take place in 2005.
In 2003 I was 8 years old I remember going over to a family friends house and their son who was older than me had this game. I’ll honestly never forget how cool and fun I thought it was. The open world factor of it just astonished me. I had never seen anything like it. Then I got older, started playing San Andreas. Played GTA 4 going into high school. Now 18 years later me and my wife just beat GTA V for the second time lol. I swear I will play this game with my children and grandchildren. This game will always be a part of my life.
Happiness to you brother we are all getting old. Played this game when i was 4 years old all the way to 6 then switched to San andreas those were good times man 🍻
R.I.P Ray Liotta..Our Childhood Hero!...Even Tho I'm Just 15 Years Old But GTA VC Was The First GTA Game I Played When I Was Like 7-8 Years Old And I Still Remember That!🪦🙏
Similar story this was the first game I found that came with the ps2 my family friend gave me, parents were not pleased when they came downstairs and I was playing GTA V at that age 8yo.
Same bro, when I was in 3rd standard(9-10 yrs old) I used to visit cyber cafe daily playing gta vc an hour and I was just addicted to it. But in the 4th standard I got ps2 which eliminated visiting cyber cafe daily and I played many games from 4 to 11 standard and then gta 5 in laptop(thanks to epicgames)😊
My girlfriend played this while we were on a roadtrip on “The Great Ocean Road" in Australia, and WOW that experience was just out of this freaking world, I never wanted that moment to end!
The background is representing the paradise Ray is now entering & the music is letting God know he’s on his way. R.I.P. to the best GTA character ever.
My dad used to play this game a lot when I was super young. It was the first game I ever played, that Christmas, I got a Gamecube (obviously not with GTA VC lol). I was 5. I had Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4, SSX Tricky, and Sonic Adventure 2. My dad used to let me play Vice City just to roam the city and drive cars like a madman and enter cheat codes. Early 2000 was the fuckin jam man.
Bro, the only reason I'm into the gta games is because of my dad, he played san andreas, 3, vice city and lcs when I was like 6 years old. He let me play sometimes to drive and stuff, I remember sometimes he told me to leave the room when some cutscenes showed up. Lol now I know what those cutscenes were
@@nikobellic737 He only accepted the role because of a fat paycheck, he refused to return to voice the character for san andreas and in general he never mentioned tommy in the roles he played
@@nikobellic737 Dude probably never played a video game in his life. Probably a total b00mer. He's oblivious to his own significance in our generation popular culture. Quite apart from goodfellas. RIP
I still remember going to my best mates house when I was 10 and he had borrowed a ps2 from his cousin with Vice City. We didnt know anything about Gta at that time but we just plucked it in and loaded up the game. As you guys all probably know, playing a GTA game for the first time blows your mind, it shows you a universe you thought didnt exist. Now, 15 years later, I watch this video with tears in my eyes looking back at all the great memories. The vibe and atmosphere in Vice City is still unmatched for me. Looking forward to finally return to Vice City in 2025. See you all at the Ocean view guys:)
Same bro, this game has an unique atmosphere, its amazing how this game can make you feel so excited and relaxed at the same time. The best fucking game experience.

Graphics in Vice city were next level compared to other games in that era, it’s just when you look back on old games they seem poor compared to todays standards
@@thegreensabre6878 if they do so ( around 99% of probability ) , i ain't gonna by the six, why i need it , if it's gonna be the same shit as nowadays five ?
I might be wrong but at least for the 3D era games (III, VC, SA) its always been like that like the melody when "mission passed" comes up is actually part of the main theme.
Dude, every GTA past ps1 were the shit, everyone was amazed by his wide open world and graphics, especially gta san andreas. You probably don't know, but back then people thought that the graphics were really realistic.
