TO THE POLICE OFFICERS IN THIS VIDEO, IF YOU ARE READING THIS: You have set an example here on how to effectively police an area whilst respecting the rights we all have. If there was a threat, you would have caught it - without breaching anybody’s rights in the process. Respect to you, officers!
@@TheByardI agree 💯, if only the MET police had a similar degree of respect for the public, should be used as a training video, most of them don't even understand the law and are just tyrants from what I see.
The civility of these officers is marked. I suspect because they are MOD officers, primarily tasked with securing MOD infrastructure. They don't confrontationally interact with the general public on a daily basis nor arrest at the same rate as 'normal' officers. They are not jaded, cynical, target driven, nor loaded down with ego and hell bent on tyranny.
I think the two most important points come from working in an area where there is actual reason for concern: 1. They are selected for competence. 2. They have no need to make up bullshit to feel important. (Or to put it more nicely: When people are exposed to a never-ending stream of memos about supposed dangers to their place of work, the effect is very different depending on whether there is an actual threat or not. In the second case, it is just human nature that the memos create unhealthy paranoia.)
That was a great interaction with the Police. They did their job correctly by having a civil conversation and working out you were not hostile. No grabbing or handcuffs. No Section 43. Infact no police bingo at all. 👍 This time.
@@firestarter1888 It's a gang sign and represents the disconnect between the public and the police, the us vs them mentality. It's also a desecration of the national flag. The charity symbol meaning was added later to spin the narrative in their favor.
The two officers were spot-on tbf... no bullshit from them, friendly and relaxed while totally professional and reasonable... good on them. Loved the ending 😂😂 reminded me of a particularly turbulent vindaloo I had a few weeks ago. 🥴
Agree. Civilised and knowledgeable. Why majority of police officers are just argumentative and ignorant is beyond me. What do they learn in studies and police training I wonder.
Yep, it just shows that it is possible to police without intimidation. I am guessing it's because the armed MOD plod are not measured or graded by how many arrests and prosecutions they make? They aren't really expected to make many arrests in those areas. I guess serious security breaches are rare. The street cops have to help 'make the numbers' for the chief constable, so get out there, make arrests, get prosecutions with the CPS. Whether the person is really a criminal or not is a secondary matter, scoring points gets prizes! If we changed the system then maybe all cops would be as collaborative as the MOD cops. It seems like they also filter out applicants with ego issues from the MOD plod. It's not a good idea to arm cops with chips on their shoulder, as we see in the USA. So MOD plod can be more choosy!?
These police officers get beyond 10/10 - a textbook example of how the police should interact with law-abiding members of the public. Warms my heart to see and props to the security guards too.
It's good to see decent police officers who aren't riding on waves of egotistical tyranny. Well done AB, and well done to those police officers for their professionalism and good mannerisms...
To be fair, any audit of these types of places which are protected by MOD police or Civil Nuclear Police are usually pleasant and the coppers are friendly enough. It’s the home office forces which are the issue.
it was actually fun to watch them trying to figure out ways to help actually, the only other time i've experienced people over-helping is when i was in japan - you have to tell people to STOP being helpful, although the japanese police are to be avoided at all costs.
A credit to their uniforms. Police officers you could actually talk to. A lot of stuff to cart around but I suppose every eventuality, even meeting AB. Refreshing change from all those confrontational vids showing the police up as the fools they are. Yeah good one AB.
They are really good officers. They have a really bad job though, guarding a nuclear weapons factory where nothing of any interest happens (inside or out), and living in an area that is totally unaffordable on their fairly poor salaries.
AB should have his own "Centre of excellence" auditing school. He is the only guy who's has been able to consistently deliver material - all his competitors have been crushed or have disbanded. Bravo!
Marco, this isn't some strange combative competition between RU-vid Auditors. They do their own thing in their own way and most of them are interesting to watch.
U should check out Long Island Audit and Bay Area Transparency of course they are auditing the states AB is the only one from across the pond that i have seen
lol When they say whenever they get a report you're there they will pretty much pester you and approach you several times. Ask why not radio through to control on their walkie talkie and say they have already spoken to you otherwise it sounds like harassment and put that to them?
Yep, our daughter played in Football Tournaments there....when a ball went where it shouldn't.....the ARMED AWE cops were there quickly, and happy to chuck the ball back!!! 💕
AB!!! 😃 That was awesome. Very few people have managed to do what you have done. Really like how you kept your word. Like how the police allowed you to push the boundaries. I mean your well within the law. But the fact that it is an ultra sensitive site... Kind of above top secret. The fact that a great deal was made. You stuck to your word even though you kind of bent over backwards. The fact that you managed to succeed where few people have ever done such a thing. You should be very pleased with yourself. And you set a good example about auditing etiquette. A great and legendary auditor you are. Very very enjoyable watch. And had me in suspense... Thank God the reactors didn't go pop though... Nothing worse than coming home. Turning off the light. And your glowing a good'en.
Nice to see a pleasant interaction for a change. Great stuff as per usual AB. These officers seemed decent enough and willing to have an adult conversation
Blackmail can be a wonderful negotiation tool. Ask permission and they say no, every time. You have to be as generous as them and film their private number plates.
That's what I like to see two Police officers that were respectful and Polite . The female officer is well spoken , Armed and Good looking . Well done AB 👏
@@romeisfallingagain I don’t inherently go around respecting people. I’m kind but no you don’t automatically get my respect. I need to see behaviors and hear the language. Big part of this is just being polite. I can be polite to people I don’t know but that doesn’t mean I respect them. The difference here is these are normal humans wearing a costume demanding respect while being disrespectful. It’s asinine to say the least. For me the problem might be that I don’t really care if people respect me. I just give what I’m given.
@@prisontv3299 smart but pathetic way to get views. I might check it out but the way you randomly seems to sneak it in makes me feel like you aren’t genuine. I’ll pass for now on checking it out.
@@hoghs1 you think your respect is valuable? LOL. your attitude shows its not worth anything. hopefully you can learn something from what i said and become a STANDARD being as opposed to subhuman thinking your respect should be earned, like you are somehow any better than your fellow countryman
@@BABYWOLF--1966 really I'd say she loved it many of my friends and family moved to the UK because back then Ireland had no money or jobs so they left for a better life for their children and your mother probably moved for the same reason, God bless her ❤❤💚🍀🙏I'm from west dublin just outside the city centre I was born in the old tenement houses in the city centre, now Dublin is huge spreading out much wider with new housing estates everywhere, ill keep your mother in my prayers 🙏💚🍀❤
Hey AB! I have been away or a while and now i am catching up on all your recordings i have missed. Good work on this one as usual. You made me long for a Bacon sandwich when you passed the Garage Haha. Again, another job well done. :)
Why are people saying these cops were great? They started out by leaving the controlled area, instead of waiting, that's Prior Restraint. Then they lie about where he can film multiple times. They have a right to demand him to leave, yet instead, they attempt to deny him access. And only cave to the truth when AB points it out and he says yes you can go in. She then says when in there he cant film towards the restricted areas, a new lie. Following this, he starts double-talking about going into the controlled area means they can perform the search they are allowed to do for entering the restricted area, another lie, or at least a fudge on the truth. On he goes about filming INSIDE when he means TOWARD the inside. And only near the end when the 2nd lie is exposed does she change it to "we ask you don't point it into the sight" which should have been "toward" the sight. For anyone that says INTO or TOWARD means the same thing, "I pointed the stick INTO the bees nest" vs "I pointed the stick TOWARD the bees nest" The same goes for THROUGH vs TOWARD which they use for windows., ""I pointed the stick THROUGH the bees nest" vs "I pointed the stick TOWARD the bees nest" AB should have said I promise I won't take any pictures INTO the restricted area, then when they return saying he did, reply "No no I took pictures TOWARD the restricted area, the pictures never went INTO it, the pictures didn't go anywhere they stayed in the camera!"
Dave Carter, firstly let me congratulate You on posting this comment. It is a great clear and consise forensic deconstruction of the events upon which you report here.Of course you go beyond the to be expected "normal" responses made by most contributers ,which congratulate police conduct for being well above what we have come to expect as "normal"--in the present climate[?] - but true as that may be,as you explain,it regretably fails to see much else occuring below the surface. The public face appears benign [ and is] yet so much more is covered over by this, superficially better than expected, example ofpolice /public interaction.Your insight is fair and accurate and i hope it helps many who read your words to always look deeper and never to stop questioning"Authority" --and that must be " The Way forward "for us all.
Have to admit this is a good video. Much better than your other ones. For instance you didn't claim they where stopping you before they had explained. Nice to see you kept a calm head this time.
@@martinsellars5008 I do not see why you would say that. If you were able to see all my previous comments and reviews of various police forces and stations you would see that I am any this but a police brown nose. I do how ever feel that in fairness a positive. comment is required where it is due, like this video and AB's visit to the weapons research facility.
AB. I'm a massive fan / follower of your work here in the UK .. I follow a guy from the US called Peter Santenello ... incredible what's happening from gang wars, and the problem with Fentanyl /drugs etc in the US !!! Different gravy !!!
AB, can you pay tribute to the original security guard who shouted "yo" at you? and go pay him a visit - let him know he's turned into an internet sensation!
