Pushrod is scraping on too long a bolt from a previously installed battery box

I found something similar on an annual once. Three bolts held a mounting plate for a PDA or something. When the glider was sold to us the PDA was removed and the bolts replaced to fill the holes. The bolts were now long enough to just scrape on the elevator pushrod!

So sad.
