@@xoxBUNnie2 was she though? I don’t think any of them weren’t pretty but I question how Jamie/Cassandra ever got in despite not knowing how to sing and Meghan just came across as bland
@@Katie-ct1xl In this episode her group messed up, but in other episodes I do like Jamie's voice, it has a mousey softness to it that I find pleasing to hear. But I do agree that with thousands of applicants they could have found 15 girls who could all sing and dance from the beginning. Imo, vocals are more important than dancing in this context.
Ironic how Robin Antin kept saying how she wanted an urban girl group, yet all they did throughout the series was perform Madonna, Britney, and nothing but pop songs and wearing PCD stuff. No wonder they didn't have success.
Ryan Lauer By that time, it was a bit too late. The show was supposed to be their platform to launch and introduce them. Should have kept it urban the entire time.
+Allen M. Quinn lol I watched a video that Tiffanie put out about why she was kicked out of the group, and it was because she was too urban and they wanted to take the group in a new direction. Wtf?
Cheyenne Bonnick I feel bad for these girls, especially the girls who won, because they never had a chance. Antin and her team have not even the slightest clue what they were doing. The reason the Pussycat Dolls took off was because they were already an established presence in Vegas, so they were known. Antin and her team didn't start from scratch. They got extremely lucky with album #1, but it was clearly a fluke since #2 bombed.
+Allen M. Quinn I totally get what you're saying, but pop can be urban as well. Just an FYI. Urban pop is a subgenre of pop that is a mixture of pop, R&B and hip hop. For example, albums like Aaliyah's self-titled album, Destiny's Child "Survivor", Keri Hilson's "In A Perfect World", and even PCD's "Doll Domination" was a little more on the urban side. But yeah, Girlicious should have stuck with the urban pop direction instead going to dance-pop garnering lower sales and kicking a vocalist out of the group because they wanted to be cheap. lol
Disagree. Dancing, performance, stage presence is really what matters. You can be the best singer, but if you aren't captivating to watch, you won't make it in the entertainment industry. Technique, whether it's singing or even dancing, is great but star quality is everything.
Lol its not for opera.. its just pop group.. u think nicole sherzinger is even a good singer? They r just gonna use auto tune anyway n stripp down clothes on music videos
if the tables were turned and someone else did what natalie did she would be saying what nicole and tiffanie did. girl knew she was in the wrong. regardless of how she felt in that moment she should of at least tried her best, and the others wouldn’t of gotten so mad at her. and to try and make drama with others during the conversation instead of admitting her doings taking accountability and apologizing.
Nathalie: "Everybody spread the wo-hord...All across the wo-horld..." I didn't know that the words "word" and "world" had an "h" in them :S That just irked me! Hate when singers do that :S
megan thinks shes a good singer and dancer aha NOT! and cassandra is a good dancers but horrible singer, jamie is ok at singing and a great dancer and i think alexis is a good singer and dancer and in this song she pulls off this outfit rele well
