Okay. Here's my thing. They didn't want Carrie to stand out too much. They wanted her to take her voice down a little. BUT they gave her a part that required her to belt?? They clearly didn't actually want her to do well. In this competition, they really really manipulate the results.
The whole week they were telling Carrie to "tone it down, tone it down, blend, blend " so she tones it down, they finally say she blends in, but she's bland. So what I'm getting from this is just that Carrie is too good for the rest of them.
And it backfired because looks can only take you so far. They really thought they were going to make another group like the Pussycat Dolls even though the industry was changing away from that.
my thoughts exactly! i couldnt believe it wasnt those 3! tiffany nicole and charlye were consistently great every week. natalie and christina messed up every couple of weeks.
@BombWarning So true. When they switched Chrystina and Carrie in one of the previous episodes, they only did it because they wanted Chrystina to win. At an extent, they essentially had the girls picked by the top 12.
Carrie, yes, she is probably in fact the most talented (when it comes to singing) out of these girls, and really was not right for the group because she is meant to be a solo artist. However, Jamie had almost no vocal talent at all. She was mainly a dancer.
I really in Luvv w/ Carrie,Natalie,Nichole, & Chrystina so so so so so much!!!! :) But Tiffanie & Charyle was and were and are really getting in my nerves because they are so fake & just plain immature!!!!
Mitchell Kimbrough I felt like she knew she wasn't going to make it. So she gave it the last push! I even thought maybe she wanted to get kicked off to pursue her own solo career.
@AZNBUNNi I know!! She wasn't right for the group, but she was always my favorite! I keep hoping she'll get a solo career or become the lead singer of a rock band of something.
@Mizznewbooty018 yeah but you couldn't hear the last one properly. I thought that I'd caught on to some shameful lipsyncing too, but its just the brain tricking into hearing the last 'yeah'. if you listen to it again you can just about hear it LOL ;)
@insincwithu ya your rite thats what they do becfause if you noticed now when i think about it crystina should have been gone a long time a go. Also i think they new carrie wouldnt fit in with an urban group cause shes soo rock. alsoi heard they edited the tapes to make some of the girls sound good and bad. like on one episode natilie sounded great but they gave her bad reviews and i wonder why?
@BombWarning Seriously, I mean she was the only one not wearing silver in her group. Either way, I think she's too talented for Girlicious, she should go solo with a voice like that.
What is up with there decisions? They send Carrie home because she doesn't fit in but she can sing really well. They sent Cassandra home because she couldn't sing and she can dance really well and she does fit in .... so like what the hell? So, what exactly do they want??
@BombWarning the whole competition is rigged, its like that for all shows like this, my friend is a major dancer, and was on a dancing competion show, they know whose going to make it through the auditions and to the finals, even before they tryout. Its all based on a certain look.
I think Chrystina was the best. Tiffanie sucked shit at singing, her phrasing and technique was horrible and her voice was nasal but she was funny. Natalie sucked at singing but she delivered. Charlye was a true performer but was rude and her personality was horrible. Nichole was cute an sweet, sometimes naive but still great. Carrie had great vocals but lacked dancing skills and versitality.
@BombWarning Okay woah no need for attitude all im saying is that ur wrong to ME! And theres not 88 people in the world so check ur little self be4 u go telling other ppl otherwise kkay... Oh and yeah I can have an attitude 2 so like chill.
