@@barbaralefave5926I think that He means for Us to put this soap scented soap bar into the toilet cistern which is what's shown in the video, & I think that He also means that it would make life a lot more pleasant for Plumbers when it comes to repairs.
Putting anything in the tank wears down the rubber on the stopper inside according to my plumber. The plumber will be happy to charge you for the repair though. Mine charges about $75 an hour.
Could have used detergent soap not body soap. I've been doing this for quite some time now because toilet blocks are getting expensive. Pretty good alternative .
It’s just making the water slimy and cloudy not working as expected unfortunately because I thought it was a great idea! Oh well, we live and learn! Baking soda and vinegar mixed with toothpaste and coke along with Dawn works like “the Bomb”, every time!! If you’re living in a rural area, have hard water or a stubborn well… add salt to the mix!🤔
Septic tanks get, tons of detergents from laundry, shampoo, soaps from all members of the family. Oh boy the laundry running pretty much daily!! I've used bleach, never had a problem in 25 yrs. How many flushes when most are out of the house flushing somewhere else anyway? Total nonsense a bar of soap in a tank is going damage septic.
