I've been burned by a woman with BPD. She's the only woman who's really done this to me. I think that women who are really insecure like that feel that they need their mate to be really secure and tough because they are insecure about themselves, so they continually test you. This is rude and irritating when it's done on a continuing basis. You get rubbed raw from it after awhile. They are critical of their mate because they are internally critical of themselves. They dish out criticism, but can't take even a hint of criticism - even if it wasn't intended. They can't even accept their own self-criticism and try to throw it on other people to deflect the hurt away from themselves and onto other people (this is called projection). They project a narcissistic attitude to cover up for their feelings of inadequacy. I've dated quite a bit, and honestly, most women haven't done this to me It was only the BPD woman who did. I realize now that this is her problem and not mine. I feel bad for her, but have gotten over the way she treated me. I'm ready for a healthy relationship with an emotionally stable woman now. Generally women who *do* like men to lead, are generally the more feminine ones (in terms of hormones). The more masculine they become, the more dominant they usually become too, and the more they will argue that they really need an 'equal' relationship. I'd advice any man to look at the correlation between femininity and submissiveness, and that the more feminine a woman is, the less likely she will *want* to dominate anything when it comes down to it. Did you know that estrogen stunts growth in height? it closes the plates in your bones, so in general shorter women *are* more feminine in terms of hormones (or at least were in their puberty and thus development). The only thing that generally somewhat has to be more towarsd equal is how intelligent you are. Less intelligent women will not understand a really intelligent guy's opinions and thus can not respect it that easily. I’ve started to understand how to put girls in their place when it comes to rude behaviour. Also when they’re trying to change plans or dominate an interaction. You also have to be able to keep calm on the inside and understand that their behaviour isn’t your problem. Don’t get emotional and try solve the issue. I used to try understand her and compromise. I believe men approach women with the mindset of "selling something" thus assuming the role of panderer and appeaser like any other merchant approaching a business prospect. That's not appropriate for a social, romantic situation. When you're "selling", you become the groveler.
I met my husband when I was 14 (he was 17). He was my older brothers bestfriend (they are still close to this day). We went to each others proms, graduations, etc..had fun, got married and have a child together. 17 years later, my husband still has me spoiled. But I HAVE AND STILL DO FEEL THE SAFEST WITH HIM. My husband is my soldier, protector, he saves me, he's my everything......BUT, I wish he would tell me NO and take charge of ME. I am always in control of everything (including our child) I wish he would take the lead sometimes. Maybe he doesn't want to? Maybe he doesn't want to make me unhappy? He is an owner of a company and has no problem being a boss. But when it comes to me, he takes a back seat :(
It's not good to talk about your personal problems on social media. That could be a sign that you want to leave him, or even worse, cheat. I recommend that you stop telling us your biz and go talk to your husband. Peace.
This woman you're describing sounds like all the shitty dudes I dated briefly in my 20s. Thankfully I med a respectful man and we've been together almost 11 years now. When we met I was so tired of men's bullshit I told him how to treat me right away and nipped game playing "we can just fool around, we don't have to define our relationship" in the crib. It obviously worked like a charm.

I like to imagine I’m a pretty attractive, intelligent, educated, fun lady. So I believe my opinion is valuable to the post. Part of what this guy is saying is true. Men that let you walk all over them aren’t sexy. However, I caution you to perfect the ability to tell when to be soft. If a guy consistently treated me like the way he described, never affirming me. Picking on me. Making me pursue him. I would make a Conscious decision to move on. I have a job, I have a daughter. I couldn’t handle being worried all the time. What this guy is describing would work, some, but too much and I’d assume the guy was trouble. Just thought I’d pass that along.
Agree in this case the women were talking about are very very immature. So yeah u have to work these tactics to get their attention. If a woman is turned off by a man with clear feelings she isn't ready for long term stability. Same goes for men.
