Aluminium is significantly more likely to leach into food, and at higher levels, in acidic and liquid food solutions like lemon and tomato juice than in those containing alcohol or salt. Leaching levels climb even more when spice is added to food that’s cooked in aluminium foil. Anything acidic sparks a particularly aggressive process that dissolves layers of aluminium into food.
I'm late to the party but fun fact.... Foil makes a great substitute for TP, the sleek smooth feel is oh so nice, and it's washable and reusable. I keep a roll by the toilet for those moments of pure indulgence.....
@@CycleBreakersCommunity yes aluminum in the human body is an electrical disturbance. No aluminum baking powder, cookware, dental works, and bath products.
Wrap "silver" foil over your head to amplify your Jedi mind tricks. People will say: "The Force is strong with this one." People will call you El-Cheapo if you use aluminum foil.
Also, be sure to microwave aluminum balls to create electrical arcing to help burn away leftover food particles inside your Microwave. You're welcome! I learned this cleaning tip from a close friend who's house burned down for no apparent reason.
For a completely healthy and natural way to rob a bank, tightly wrap your head in foil, carefully pinch out 2 eye holes and 1 small nose hole and proceed to the bank. Repeat the process on the security guard's head and use your gun to make the 3 holes. Using foil gloves, lift the money into foil bags and make your getaway in your foil covered car with your foil covered friends. This is the best way to foil the cops.
This video helped so much! Here's my tip: instead of sticking an elongated aluminum foil into the outlet, turn the top left portion of the second tip to ensure your safety and harness the power.
Use aluminum foil to deflect the sun from your house in summer time. Just wrap house, and cover all the windows with aluminum foil and watch how cool your house gets on hot summer days!
@@plutoh9958 quote: "But then the authorities think you have a meth lab in there😑" Response: Make a hat out of tinfoil and when you wear it they'll simply think you're too crazy to have a meth lab operation Mr White.
Can you rewrite Item 4 so it makes sense? Do you put the foil in the washer or the dryer? Static Electricity forms during the drying in the dryer, not during the washing in the washer, doesn't it? I am lost...
This sh*t is HILARIOUS! Every time I get a notification there's more funny sh*t & I'm re-reading the comments, old & new, cracking up. Thank God for the people who come up with this stuff because we ALL need laughter! Nothing like laughing so hard and you can't stop because the next comment is even funnier than the last. Your eyes are watering & ur about pee ur pants & ur still laughing.
Hey I WatchEd your video on aluminum foil and just wanted to let you know that while it is easier to cook with aluminum foil it was actually found to be unhealthy to do so... anyway thanks for the other hacks- found them useful
Use foil to test electrical outlets. Just twist it into a pointy shape and then probe each side of the socket. If the outlet is active you will light up like a pinball machine.
Never use foil to make a battery connection or with any electronics, this is extremely dangerous as a fire risk. My grandparents set their house on fire which was cause by putting foil in a torch to complete a connection, the torch was the cause of the fire!!!!!!!
i heard they had some successes in ruining your fun, Element of Kindness, ie cooking at high speed that don't do that near as much. (produced no less) Still i doubt they will replace all the old tech any time soon, so have fun. Have you tried putting a marshmallow in there on a paper plate? haha
Nothing will happen honestly. What they meant is to put it in the DRYER, not the washer. The point is to prevent static buildup in the dryer. If you have static buildup on your clothes after they come out of the wash, you have discovered some new physics.
You can also microwave food with aluminum foil on top to keep your food cold, and make the container boiling hot and you will burn your hands :) IT WORKS!
🔵 At 0:52 the illustration of the battery and spring is incorrect, most commonly, the SMALL-end of the spring faces the battery and contacts the NEGATIVE-END of the battery, NOT the positive-end as shown here along with the spring oriented incorrectly.
You can also use it to smoke crank! Fold a long piece into a V, and fold a wing on the end to hold onto! Load crank, light from underneath, and stuck crank smoke from a straw!!
Yeah I came here for the washing machine tip as it says in the name of the video & as usual couldn't help myself but read the comments .. always a good laugh & an eye opener ✌
Put aluminium foil under the stove burners( lift them up, place sheet and put them back) if you are going to cook a lot, after cooking all the grease and crumbs are collected
My lady friend used to wrap her diaphragm in aluminum foil for additional peace of mind. Only problem was that when we made love near the stereo antenna wire, I could somehow hear A Prairie Home Companion on NPR broadcasting out of her hoohoo and it ruined the mood.
It creates a little current, like a battery. Also, this video is full of shit. The aluminum foil in the washer won't do shit, the water is acting as a conductor to ground and therefore the clothes are already at ground potential. Putting it into a dryer? Who knows.
Cooking with foil releases a lot of aluminum which goes into the food. I was raised in the 80s and my mother cooked with foil a few times a month and I’m fine but why consume contaminates when you don’t have to...
These are useful tips ....only science guys will appreciate. Wifi improvement is real so are battery related and other tips.Static charge removal to neutralize dust charges is also interesting.
I find this video helpful like moving the sofa with foil, but in pots when cooking, seriosly,,, foil has neurotoxin which could cause u some serious health issues
I throw a pork chop in the dryer with my clothes. Yeah, they get a little greasy but my dogs seem to like me better and it defrosts the pork chop real good. Then I cook it in my homemade lead skillet. My mouth's goin' to waterin' just thinkin' about it.
@SpanishVamp..Apparently you didn't follow the link, some routers have internal antennas, just like modern cell phones do. Absence of an antenna equals absence of a signal.
The major uses for aluminium metal are in Transportation (automobiles, aircraft, trucks, railway cars, marine vessels, bicycles, spacecraft, etc.). Aluminium is used because of its low density; Packaging (cans, foil, frame etc.). Aluminium is used because it is non-toxic, non-adsorptive, and splinter-proof; Building and construction (windows, doors, siding, building wire, sheathing, roofing, etc.). Since steel is cheaper, aluminium is used when lightness, corrosion resistance, or engineering features are important; Electricity-related uses (conductor alloys, motors and generators, transformers, capacitors, etc.). Aluminium is used because it is relatively cheap, highly conductive, has adequate mechanical strength and low density, and resists corrosion; A wide range of household items, from cooking utensils to furniture. Low density, good appearance, ease of fabrication, and durability are the key factors of aluminium usage; Machinery and equipment (processing equipment, pipes, tools). Aluminium is used because of its corrosion resistance, non-pyrophoricity, and mechanical strength. Aluminium coins have been produced for small denomination currency, owing to its low manufacturing cost and negligible bullion value. So paranoid Americans "it's not bloody toxic"
You don't put it in the dryer. It goes in the washer. Make a ball about the size of a baseball / tennis ball and toss it in. This does actually work. I use it for my clothes and my horses blankets/ saddle pads that are coated with hair and sweat. They come out looking great and ready for the dryer. This method works well because it keeps all that junk out of your dryer. It also removes static electricity.
I'm 67. Aluminum foil has been in the public use all of this time, maybe a bit longer. After using aluminum foil for a good part of that 67 years and feeling no side effects, I would be pretty sure that you can use it 'til hearts content. It is not going to hurt you in any way. Unless some know it all has mess with the original recipe to make the stuff. Just because a 'warning' comes on Facebook don't believe everything you see and hear. Have a great foil wrapped baked potato with all the trimming that you want. Sour cream, bacon anyone?
Keith Purdue oh really Keith you are so damn funny I agree with you grab a damn dryer sheets throw it in there hopefully it doesn't smell like I'm serious like dryer especially coin operated ones that suck
Nah, waste of money, more landfill garbage, chemically harmful, pollutes the environment, etc. Just spray some 50/50 water/vinegar solution + drops of your favorite essential oil(s) on an all-purpose clean cloth and it'll the same job for pennies.
