Believe it or not some ancient warriors were using such blankets against arrows in Japan or China it was made of Silk dragged in the air behind a horseman.
When the young members of military in US spoke with irony about the Russians the old high military rank officers told them do not underestimate them,I remember them from the World War Two.
@@nightrider12soul The people in the US are brainwashed to ridicule Russia and see it as the great bogeyman. It's been like this for quite some time and is unlikely to change.
Of course, many people see this war through a Rambo/Reagan lens. I could coin just as snappy one-liners about the US as Lindsay Graham's fmuch-quoted meme about "a gas station with nukes" - but they would likely get stopped or blocked by YT.
@@louise_rose That's right. Most know nothing about Russia or Ukraine, and what this SMO is about, but everyone has an opinion. And the less they know, the more they have to say.
@@LazarusChinguwo pathetic? You would probably be a coward and flee like the former Afghani president abandoning his people. He stood and went nowhere to ensure his country's freedom. Go cower somewhere troll
People becoming dead very fast as a weapons testing ground, and a way to get rid of outdated poisonous weaponry very sick, very cruel.. Foreign aid, not at all..
Amazing how it dissipates the energy of shrapnel or bullets . Defence is nearly more important than being able to attack. Can’t fight if you are DEAD !
This has been around for ages. This is what Gaddaffi was using as his tent or gazebo indoors. And outdoors. Same stuff is used for those bulletproof clothing. Its been around for long. Not new and they made this long ago.
Nice. The Russians are using a similar material in their advanced Ratnick combat suits. The Russian scientific and technical mind is second to none on this planet, and the Russian educational system is excellent (unlike ours in Woke Occupied America).
@@TmanRock9 No but it can stop fragments. I get NAFO dummies believe the fireball of the bomb is what kills you like hollywood taught you but if you can believe it thats not correct.
Once again the washing machine manufacturers surprise me with another game changing invention that will safe lives and material in the battlefield - fragments pose a big danger in todays warfare and can lead to very serious and even life threatening injuries.
In any video on Russian innovation it won't be long before you see a post that it was invented first in the USA. It's gotten so bad that recently at a training session I attended in Allentown ,pa the presented claimed that Henry Ford invented the automobile. I am so tired ....I let it go 😅
The only problem is that... It's not a new invention. Bomb blankets are not something new, anyone can search for information about them. Which says very little good about the people who comment here. You know, keep sending memes to say good morning xDD
in 2004 in Iraq, the US was using 'bomb-blankets' on the floor of some of the unarmoured humvees when the IED threat began to rise. This isnt really new tech.
Innovation is pretty fast compared to the number STEM citizens in Russia less than 500,000. USA has more than 1 million STEM and more from India are working in USA STEM fields.
But in USA its mere 15 % of the 1 million that actually are American citizens...rest go back to their countries or work for sometime and move back and start their own enterprise in their home country...that's why many people tend to ignore about USA.
