Chinese President Xi Jinping welcomed his “old friend” Vladimir Putin to Beijing on May 16, 2024, at the start of a two-day state visit by the Russian leader. Xi said relations between the two countries have withstood an international “storm and changes” and set a model for mutual respect and cooperation. Putin’s visit is expected to further boost the “no-limits” partnerships the leaders forged in 2002, just before Russia invaded Ukraine.

There was no war in 1967 but only a 3-day battle/skirmish from 11/09/1967 to 14/09/1967 (Nathu La), but Indian historians got to lie to salvage their Indian ego after losing the 1962 war in the most humiliating and embarrassing fashion when .... 1) China was having a massive famine (Great Chinese Famine from 1958 to 1962) 2) Sino-Soviet split from 1960 to 1962 meaning China had no weapon assistance from Soviets or the West. 3) India had Israeli and American support in the form of supplies/weaponry.
