I wish Radio times would send a decent headset to those they interview regularly. The special guests accent mixed with the awful laptop microphone makes these interviews hard to understand.

Could you, please do something with the microphones of your guests? I'm not a native speaker but I'd like to listen to the conversation and catch the guest's line It's often on the Times when the host sounds clear but the guest is like a WWl radio message

This important interview was desperately in need of a better audio feed from Dr. Bury.

The only way the sound on this video worked for me was by using headphones with active voice cancelation....

The delay in US aid was a disaster and the west has been a day late and a dollar short this whole war. The west should have gone in with a no fly zone years ago and based on the Budapest memorandum should have helped Ukraine kick out the Russians. China will not attack Taiwan as they would fail and this would be the end of the CCP, we do not know if a black swan event may happen, for example what if the leader of China, Belarus or Chechnya died suddenly ?? The calculus can change at any time and for many reasons.

Re. the header title, why do vloggers insist on asserting that Russia's offensive is failing? Evidently they are persistently making progress west along the frontline. Yes, at very significant cost in equipment, materials & men - but Unkraine's losses are also heavy. Seems the only real prospect of a Ukranian victory is a complete collapse of the Russian forces which is only likely to occur if the Russian State itself collapses. Not likely in the immediate future, but the population might just rise up in a cold winter....

Was this interview 2 yrs ago the Doc seems to be stuck in 2022! Not describing events on the ground at all.

Too bad its hard to hear what he’s saying with the bad microphone and weird accent. As a lecturer in the UK you should expect to be able to talk better understandable English.

Please don’t interview people like this with such awful audio quality.

Disappointing. I'm hard of hearing, and Dr Bury really needs to get a proper bloody microphone, if he is going to spend nearly half an hour spreading his wisdom about the current conflict. Really wanted to hear what he had to say. The captions helped, but it is unacceptable that the good doctor, hasn't bothered to buy a decent microphone, given just how cheap they are. /Downvoted (Regretfully).
