This Bama hand held tuner from American Muscle makes my Mustang so much faster! 📚 I Wrote A Book 📚 www.amazon.com/Become-Type-Pe... 🎥SHOP MY FILM EQUIPTMENT🎥 www.amazon.com/shop/caylebpletos
So in all, it comes with two pre-loaded tunes along with the factory tune? and whenever you send in a request for a new tune, they replace one of the preloaded tunes, or it just adds on? and how long does it take for them to get back to you for a requested tune?
How did you get this the x4 tuner to work with your roush intake, I have the same intake and it’s not giving me a selection for a roush intake when I’m programming my 2005 mustang gt
If you use a tuner, do you still hold the brake down and the TC for 10 seconds until you reach Race mode, or do you just leave all that alone after tuning?
@@CaylebPletos in my 2010 mustang I can hold down the brake and TC for 10 seconds and get, "race mode", but if I hold TC down with my brake LONGER it turns ALL limitations to free flow off, or so i've been told.
I can see why someone said that 😂😂😂 Lol what that ACTUALLY does is turns your AdvanceTrac system off, so you can spin, slide, all the above and nothing on the car will try to stop you
I have an H Pipe and the plan to remove my resonators. I will be installing BBK 62mm twin throttle body and an Airaid Race MXP series CAI. If I purchase that tuner will it be a simple process for tuning my vehicle like what you did in the video or do I have to contact Bama to customize a tune for me before tuning because of my mods?
@@CaylebPletos Oh okay makes sense. So I’m going to mod it some more before I buy the tune online. We’re the forms online? Can all of this be done with my iPhone or do I need an actual computer to install their custom tunes for my modded vehicle onto the tuner?
@Tone Vee you can buy the tuner right now if you want. Bama gives you two free tunes off the jump and then free custom tunes for life after that because they know people are gonna continue to add mods. It's a little incentive, pretty nice, that's why I'm going with this tuner
With buying the device you get free tunes for life so any time you want to add a new mod you can just request a new tune including the part you installed
I just installed my JLT CAI i got the BAMA tuner once i put the tune is it going to calibrate since now I have the jlt n not the stock intake? Sorry is my first time
Do I need to tune my mustang gt 2011 after installing cold air intake and exhaust delete? At what rpm should I release the clutch when taking off? I feel it has no power at take off. Thansk
After a cold air intake and exhaust you don't NEED to tune it, however, If you want to get the most power out of your parts I would recommend it. Unfortunately, I have never tuned a manual so I'm not sure about that.
I suspect the previous owner put a tune on my 04 GT but I have no idea how to tell what he did to it. I just wanna know if I'm gonna ruin my engine on regular gas or not.
If I throw you some $ wanna turn my fuel pressure up for me. My tuner stopped working. The bluetooth tuner I have doesnt stay on when you turn the key off it will go till you shut off the car. Then you have to re do it all the time and it's a pain
@@CaylebPletos I’m just starting out with my car, it’s still completely stock. If I add a cold air intake and tune it. Would I have to re tune it for another mod? Or can It stay the same?
@@fermuniz6720 if you have a bama tuner like his with the free tunes for life thing, then I would recommend getting a new tune made after each mod just cuz it will help you get the most out of each mod. But if you don’t have the tuner then no, it’s not necessary. I have a cold air intake, aftermarket throttle body, and an exhaust on my 06 and I haven’t messed with the tune yet. Car still runs great tho
@@insainperson6018 I'm not sure about this. I put in a request for bama for these tunes. I would assume they could send you one based off the mods you have
no, but you would have to request it from bama. i believe there's a video up on here where bama told him that they wouldn't be able to do it if you still have your factory cats because it'll dump too much fuel to make the pops & the factory cats won't be able to handle it.
@@CaylebPletos should've never done that.. It was the throttle position which is only a 60 dollar part ... Just two bolts you take off and could've put the new one on.. That was a bad idea my guy
It was part of the premium package to have 4 gauges. My 05 GT has 4 and the mycolor shit. If you're going to get one of these be sure to get one with those gauges.
@@CaylebPletos when you tell them your new parts, how do you get the tune on your car for that tune? Do you go to wifi check for updates or cloud file sync?
Do not use Bama tuning their tunes are trash. My stang ran so bad with their tunes to the point I started to sell my car. A friend of mine told me about Palm Beach tuning. Just palm beach basic tune out did Bama all out tune. Then after I data logged my car. 1000 time better than Bama tune. I have a full bolt on 2013 gt and just one basic tune then the tweak after I data logged car runs perfect. I had ten different tunes sent from Bama and neither did its job. They give you unlimited tunes for life for 150.00 dollars. Because they don't know what the fuck they’re doing.
