Nice video! I have a Samsonas in my S2000 as well. I love having peace of mind that my transmission set up is rock solid.

@@JDCsounds this trans is definitely not something you want to run on the street. It's an awesome trans but it's EXTREMELY loud - the in-cabin noise is as loud as, if not louder, than running a side exit exhaust. The transmission is much easier to shift when it is at speed then when you go from neutral in to gear. Every time you shift from neutral to first the loud clunk will have nearby cars staring at you. Imo this is only "acceptable" for street driving if you're the kinda guy who doesn't mind streeting a straight piped car with a cage, etc. It's just a bit too extreme for 9/10 people out there to daily!

I have a quick question about the reduction gear. Do you just multiple that number with each gear to find the ideal gear ratio set?

I'm assuming you're using a gear calculator tool rather than doing this on paper/using a math equation right? You can apply the reduction gear one of two ways: 1 - you can either multiply the reduction gear to each of the transmission gear ratios 2 - you can multiply it with the differential ratio once (the preferred method) and use that resulting number as your diff ratio number instead

@walshmoracing I tried looking for a gear calculator but didn't know which one to actually use. So I basically did option one multiply the reduction gear to each individual transmission gear ratio to find something that would match with like the t56 gear ratios for example. I ordered my Samsonas dogbox a month ago and picked my gear ratio based of that and was just wondering if I did it right
