Well Marie, don't think of it as screaming, think of it as "shouting words of encouragement!" Shouting into the void, possibly, but encouraging words nonetheless. :-) Love what you've done with her! Great job, as always! (full disclaimer) For those not aware, Marie and I are good friends...
this was so interesting to watch. Thanks for sharing. What an over-engineered machine. You have patience. Have a good one. Looking forward to the next one.
I empathise with your frustration, however I was laughing fit to bust at the 'scratched record' assembly, sooo much tension it was almost unbearable 😂. Nice to know I'm not alone in the arghh doh, groundhog day episodes. Great movie Marie and the cliff hanger sequel 'set screw on the loose'...genius Speilberg, looking forward to it😉. Now back to the Kenwood Mixer, unwire, retake motor out, put plastic isolator collar in, reassemble, gift to son and hope to never fix it again. Thanks, I needed a giggle.
What a great adventure, I was right here on the sidelines cheering you on with Bob. And I love it when you show all the trials re-trials as you figure something out. That's how it is for real and much better for us still learning to know up-front the kinds of challenges everyone faces and how we might go about 'figuring it out'. If everything is edited so it looks like nobody ever has trouble with anything and it all goes perfectly all the time then we get demoralised when we hit roadblocks. Watching people like you and Bob has helped me no end! And I agree about screw-starters. I love, love, love mine. As for the problem with everything getting magnetised - maybe a handy-dandy bamboo skewer or the 'stick' part of a long cotton bud would be useful?
Marie, is there a little space around the screw that you were going to use the tacky glue on that may take a very fine washer? It maybe just my eyes seeing what is not there. You have done a wonderful job on this one, so pretty.
LOL... Not that I have ANY Idea of what You're doing to tell at what You're actually doing... BUT, I will admit that I do "tilt" my phone if you go out of screen shot... For some reason, my brain thinks if I tilt my phone, it's going to somehow magically pull the picture into view (if that makes any sense)!
