Putting an English Save onto a Japanese Pokemon Cartridge 

Something interessting is that if one manages to escape from the glitchdimension, the game can actually be played like normal after this transfer. The issue is that the rival stops you because whatever determines his team being dynamically changed(due to the Eevee evolving) breaks and instead gives him an unbeatable glitchteam. At least this is what I encountered by messing around with the german roms and I have not been able to replicate since, I got real lucky to find an escape that one time.

I just got a copy of sapphire from Japan, I'm ordering the backup tool to try this as soon as I can

ROM stands for Read-Only memory. You cannot write the English ROM file onto the Japanese cart like that. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news lol

@@NikhilGarlapati You can if it's an EPROM or EEPROM, but sadly, cartridges like this are made with MaskROM's.

yes! I tested it off camera and it works both ways, pretty interesting honestly.

@@torrenttortuga I ordered a JP copy of all the GBA games; Glad to know I can get my emulator saves onto a cartridge one way or another

@@torrenttortuga sooo one could play the english version until the end and then put it in lets say a spanish cartridge?
