That's a good idea, and it definitely needs to happen to fix the problem, but the customer doesn't want to invest that much into the drive unfortunately
I feel for ya brotha ! Working with frozen soil & clay ,sucks. As you said it`s a band aid. They will continue to have the erosion problem unless they have a small ditch cut on the side of the drive. Putting in road fabric under the base may help the rock from pushing down into the clay.
That's a good idea about the fabric. I will pass that along to my friend. We were just talking about cutting into the banks and widening the road to put a stone filled ditch in. I appreciate you taking the time to watch the video. I'm working on making them better. I just hope it will help someone avoid some of the mistakes I made along the way.
@@Carollascompactconstruction I enjoy your videos, as I do the same kind of stuff that you do. I have a channel as well , just haven`t got around to putting any video clips up yet. Yea I think if they cut a shallow ditch on one side of the drive and put rip rap stone in it . along with the regular driveway rock . I think it would be aesthetically appealing and blend in with his drive,
@pantheroutdoors2022 that's good to hear, there are not enough people doing tractor work. It's a small nitche market around me. But I'm happy to take the smaller jobs with less overhead. What kind of jobs do you get into?
@@pantheroutdoors2022 I really miss my grinder. I need to get another one before spring. That's awesome, I can't wait to check out some of your content.
