Ducks Unlimited Fellowship recipient, Brett Leach, University of Missouri, is studying Blue-Winged Teal using GPS Transmitters. His research uses GPS telemetry to identify migration routes, timing of migrations, and important breeding, staging and wintering rest areas for blue-winged teal.
If you have questions for Brett about his research, email him at balhvr@missouri.edu
Thank you to the volunteers, Brett, Paul and the Lousinana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries for allowing us to spend the weekend and to highlight the incredible work everyone is doing in Lousiana.
