Here in Southern Maryland we always plant Kale and Turnips together... and always use a 5gal bucket of fireplace ash to mix the seeds together in then just walk over you land spreading by hand... no big trick, just how I learned to get an amazing field of kale and Turnips for the family... deer just naturally come to it as well. Another great video!

Looking forward to the updates on this. Very little chance I will be putting in a food plot but I sure am enjoying watching you do it.

All I can say is there's not many out there as dedicated and as hard of working as you. Great Job!

Start in the center and till/mow outward. Each round gets bigger and you don't back track or miss any. Mowing the grass shoots to the inside with no rows. Either way just get theseed on the ground. Might want to add something to keep the birds away until it comes up. Good luck! Looking foward to seeing what happens this fall.

The green machine is similar to what we used to plant in central Alabama. We grew turnips anyway but planted winter rye, oats and Australian winter peas in our patches. Added a little 13 13 13 fertilizer and we were in business.

No matter what, them guys will be going to town on all them goodies. It's a win win for you both. I'm looking forward to seeing future videos. Like me, you tend to overwork trying to...git er dun. Excellent job.

You could throw some of those turnip/brassica seeds in the edges and they might come up, if you get a rain fairly quick. They will find their way through the tiniest gap and can sprout. Putting them on thick will reduce the bulb size, but the animals will thin them while they are tiny and greens only anyway. Looking forward to the updates.

I use something similar to the green machine. I but it in two weeks ago . The deer will not leave it alone. I may need a fence to keep them out
