In this video, I start stripping the Mini’s interior. Most of the interior pieces that are there for no reason, I remove.
By removing both the driver seat and passenger seat alone, I removed 117 pounds. Of course when I install new lighter seats, I won’t see that 117 pound weight loss, but it will be substantial nonetheless. I will be removing more from the interior, however where the car is now, is in a perfect position to set me up for other aftermarket mods, such as installing my roll cage and my short throw shifter.
