The rad support is easy enough to remove and re-install (4-6 bolts and screws). Correction: you took it off anyway, lol (I'm writing this as I see your video)! Honestly, you could have just installed the Dinan badge and get the other stickers for cheap on FCPeuro. I would have done the valve covers swap or at least paint them. Dinan gives the installation PDF for the air intakes on their website for free and it has a template to cut the wedge for the secondary air pump, otherwise it wont fit with the air intake. I used the pdf to install the optional air ducts. OHHHH! SUPER IMPORTANT NOTE: The Dinan cold air intake and MAF's will need software added to your car for it to run properly on your car, otherwise you will have rough idle and delays in throttle response at certain RPM's. Unfortunately you can only get the software from Dinan and it ain't cheap. So both cars will need to be flashed: The silver back to stock, The Avus needs the official Dinan tune made for the cold air intake and the MAF's. Shark tune is not going to work as its for cars that have the original MAF's diameters. Lastly, the heating of the strut tower to get stickers off is optional, but all they are is the indicators of the 2 softwares installed. I did it once on someones car heating it from the back and lightly keeping the front wet to not burn it, but it's hard unless you remove the shock and spring. Might not be worth the trouble to be honest. Hope my rant helps lol!
I appreciate all the info! After doing the core support swap I should've just done that 😂 I didn't want to ruin the badge and I was unsure if the stickers were still available & being I already needed to remove the headlights and bumpers it wasn't much more work to just take both off and swap over as well. I don't think it's worth trying to remove the carb stickers on the towers & I'll have to get the dinan software unfortunately, but I'll check around because I'd like to go catless and will also need a tune for that! I really appreciate the help
