I truly I'm led by the Holy Spirit to hear this. I woke up this morning and decided to fast and pray against the spirit of anger. As I began I heard the Holy Spirit whispered, "feelings ate the flesh so do not focus on your feeling but pay attention to what is not felt" so I'm on the right track. Please pray for me as I also pray to have a serene and loving spirit in Yeshua name. Amen
Pls I need a gentle spirit like yesterday pls pray for me against emotional trauma. I want to enjoy that inner and outer quietness and joy, for my children too. Thanks

Participating in 2021! Right now, I’m in a situation where I’m fighting anger and distrust towards an individual that I used to be close to.. The Lord led me to this scripture in 1 Peter 3:3-4 and I don’t want to fight this anymore. So I’ve been praying the Lord would give me a gentle and quiet spirit because it’s the only thing that can win against distrust. So prayers are much appreciated! ❤️❤️
Hey Sarah! I think it is impossible to change any of these things on our own, and there is some freedom in that. The Holy Spirit is placed in believers' hearts as a guarantee of eternal life but ALSO of the work that He promises to accomplish in us. The only ways we can participate in "self-improvement" goals is to (1) draw near to God (His nearness is our good!) and (2) humble ourselves in repentance and confession. It is when we are humble that He raises us up, and the Lord is near the brokenhearted. Holiness is being set apart for God's purposes. He does this for us because only HE is holy. Since we are not without sin (no one is, not one), there is no way for us to make ourselves holy. Our utter dependance on Him IS faith. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him...there are so many verses to point us to the truth-that apart from Him, we can do nothing. So, take heart!! The ability to see our need for Him and for His help is the beginning of change. HE is the change agent. We can: draw near, acknowledge shortcomings, believe in His forgiveness, pray for better responses next time. We can only rest in His love-His covenant-keeping love that promises to never leave us AND not to leave us as we are, but to re-make us into His image. We don't rely on ourselves for change. We rely on Him. So, with patience wait for Him to move your heart to obedience and every single time it does not obey, confess and repent. There is a mystery in how the Lord sanctifies us, but it starts with humbling ourselves, connecting to Him in relationship, and believing He will keep all of the promises...
Thank you so much for this. I would love prayer for discernment and wisdom from God and attentiveness to realize attacks from the enemy and to understand and apply God's word. Thank you.

I want you to know I am writing an eBook right now (this moment!) about discovering the SEED of DOUBT that takes root in us and produces sin and separation from God. Rejecting these doubts and choosing to rest in God's Word is a daily, sometimes moment to moment, process for me. But be encouraged!
