TK- 424: Uhh lord Vader, there appears to be an unplug cord on you're mas- uhh helmet si- lord Vader Darth Vader: (Inhales) . . . . . YOO DUDES, THE EMPIRE IS PRETTY CHILL, MAYBE YOU COULD LIKE JOIN IT OR SOMETHING.
Apart from it being an essentially useless item, it's not really that expensive. I just don't like that it looks... off. The proportions are all wrong.
@@Jokerprime_siuu no. It's not dude. Use your eyes and compare the actual helmet to this. If you actually see with those round marbles in your head you will see it's not accurate.
@@Jokerprime_siuu not one single aspect of the sculpt is accurate. The dome is still undersized and symmetrical. The mouth vent and cheeks are too wide and the sides of the vent sink in. But overall the whole face mask is still smaller then it should be. The curve of the eyes is too dramatic. I know exactly what I'm taking about. I have been researching the original costumes for years and I own helmets that were cast off originals. The Obi-wan helmet uses a fan sculpted face mask that is called the "Quasimodo" which does have VERY slight differences to the Original trilogy helmets but is far more accurate then the Hasbro will ever be.
I had this helmet in my Amazon cart for the past week. This video made me go and order it finally. Now I have a bigger problem, I want to build the entire suit now.
@@ImEmpathyTV how do you disagree? It's factually innaccurate. The helmet does not match up with the version it's replicating. The same goes for the rest of the suit. None of its accurate.
@@jeremydrew1227 it looks very similar to the Obi Wan Kenobi series portrayal of Vader. I'm no cosplay expert let alone someone who owns alotta costumes. But I do have eyes and watch Star Wars often enough to know the subtle differences between suits. Yes the Black series helmet is a little inaccurate overall, but for what it's price is and it's accessibility makes it a fine addition to anyone's collection 😜 Definitely more accurate suits out there, but it's still very accurate in my opinion lol
@@ImEmpathyTV for one the suit is based off of Revenge of the sith(poorly at that) and the helmet is way off. Hasbro has done better on their other helmets but dropped the ball on Vader.
I don't dislike the Black Series helmets but I do think cosplay was much cooler like 10 years ago when you had to make everything yourself. I remember people had huge vacuum forming setups for making armor and helmets
I love the suit for cosplay purposes, but if we’re thinking practical that suit was made to torture him people are just volunteering now these days to go in it 😂❤
