I think I should add a 90° elbow at the top of the valve so the hose sits better, hopefully I’ll have time to hook it to the haybine Tuesday or Wednesday
Those ice pellets suck! We had 2.5" at Christmas. Dang, sorry to hear about your friends son!😢 You've gotta do what you gotta do to help him through it... Hydraulics on there will be pretty handy 👍😁
Ugh.... On the valve the letters mean something. You can't just hook it up willie nillie. P=PRESSURE/Pump T=TANK/Return A&B=WORK. A&B correspond to which way you activate the handle. Depends on is this a closed center valve. If so then flow continues through valve uninhibited until lever is activated in one direction or the other. YOU CAN'T SIMPLY "PLUG OFF" PORTS YOU DONT WANT TO USE. The valve is designed for a two-way cylinder. I'm only 8:16 into the video and my eyes are already bleeding. Here's hoping you figure it out before the end of the video. I wanted to watch this video hoping to learn something new... not to wind up teaching someone something. OTHERWISE GREAT VIDEO. You definitely are motivating folks, one way or another 😂 Best welding i ever seen.
Should be a pressure in, and return on the sides, the top 2 should be in and out to the cylinder.. both are pressure and return according to the position of the lever.. could be a real bad thing if it's not plumbed right...
