Excellent video and explanation of the installation process. I have a Ford 800 and considering adding the same Steiner single spool valve kit. The even though the T-handle gives you the ability to run double acting cylinders, shouldn't there be a hose for low pressure/return to the tank?
When you use dual action cylinders one hose has pressure to the cylinder and the other returns to the tractor. A single action cylinder has one hose at one end and a air vent at the other end to release the pressure as the cylinder moves in and out. Hope that answers your question.
That's what I do not like on after market vales I paid a little more for factory for my Ford 5000 and now I have two hydraulic outlets on the back I use one for my hydraulic 3rd arm for my finishing mover the other for my disk and bush hog.
You need to look at the Steiner website for the hydraulic plate. It tells you all the tractors it works on. There are quite a lot, so hopefully it will.
