He the only one that lives so of course he the one getting the hate. if he died puts wouldn't have anyone to complain though he might go off on someone else instead.
him pushing the rainmaker back is actually an extremely good strat and is generally a lot safer than resetting it or continuing to push. I'm not tryna defend putz for raging (bc I don't like him), but what he did was very smart

He doesn't want anyone to grab the rainmaker. He wants it to stay there so they all can camp and protect because when the rainmaker is there (which Is why he intentionally got splatted at the beginning, not saying anything) the rainmaker is next to their spawn so the advantage their team has is: 1. They can respawn next to the objective and protect 2. The enemy team will have to go around and walk through unprotected parts of the stage in order to reach it Unfortunately, he was reckless, his teammates didn't necessarily understand it and did a poor job.
If they disconnect, then they're blocked. If Putz loses, they're blocked. lol. I'm just thankful I manged to get off his block list. You can only keep 100 blocked and I was spared.
@@Zalthair Yeah, I noticed in another video he had to unblock some people to add some new, saying something along the lines of "I don't want to do this, they all deserve to be blocked". It's kind of hilarious how terrible of a sport he is.
How does putz react when an opponent squidbags him? I have never seen him get squidbagged before. I'm guessing he would instantly report the person. I've heard rumours that you can get banned for squidbagging your opponents after killing them. Seems ridiculous though.
if the day ever comes i get in a team with this dude..i will try my very best to to make our team lose not only that i will also grab the rainmaker before him ;D..just knowing how he will react makes it to tempting xD
He should Probably only camp the Rainmaker during last 30 seconds or something. But I honestly think that he should’ve reset the Rainmaker. It always works for me 😅
Why is he retreating? The rainmaker even tells you "don't retreat!" The whole point of Rainmaker is to put the rainmaker into the opponent's spot. (idk what they're called lol) I know the video says that Putz was camping, but doing that makes things worse! Instead of increasing his chances of winning, he just made the rainmaker closer to his spot. Why blame it on ALL_C4P5 when it was clearly his fault for coming up with this plan?
going against the mindset of the mode should be a reportable offense. Think there an option call sportsmanship which I think if it not already, it should be fall under it. sucks nothing will come of it and you need the stupid app to do it. The only thing I can do is report their twitter post instead if some hacker is one of the twitter people in the hub but can't do a thing if they are part of the party(wonder why we can't view their twitter post too). It also sucks reporting isn't worth anything anymore(if it even did). Reports gets ignore or if they auto it, just punish the person for just having a ton a reports even though they may all be false.
I don't think you two understand. His team was already in the lead, so camping with the rainmaker was a viable strategy. All Putz really had to do was stay alive or waste time without dying. This could cause someone to rush in for the rainmaker (making the enemy team lose since they aren't playing as a team at that point), or they can get the rainmaker back if they utilize specials and work well as a team. The strategy itself IS pretty risky, but it's always an option near the end of the game. The problem was that Putz died, and his teammates weren't able to defend or reset the rainmaker at that point. Putz raging out on people is pretty normal, so even though the loss was his fault too, he blamed someone else on his team.
Yes, the "goal" of rainmaker is to make it to the end, but the *real* goal of the mode is to just have more of a lead than your opponent. Running out the clock and camping is indeed a viable strategy, but it runs the risk of the opponent immediatley being able to get a huge lead if they somehow grab it. His rage still wasn't justified and he blamed his team, but I could see what he was trying to do.
Actually, what he was doing was a pretty smart strategy that's seen all the time in higher level play. Putz's team had the lead, so all they had to do was keep the enemy from picking up the rainmaker for a minute and they would win, so putz brought the rainmaker to what is arguably the most inaccessible point on this map for the enemy team. But... The enemy managed to break through and get it, partially because putz for some reason did not grab and hold the rainmaker when its shield burst.
Seriously? I think that strategy is scummy af. The game discourages you from doing that, because all you do is camp in your base, and you can sit in your spawn shield. It’s such a cheap strat.
Camping in his Spawn shield while they could only walk in a predictable path wasn’t enough for him to win. It’s so pathetic that these people get into rank X. Nintendo needs to fix the ranking system so I don’t get this guy on my team.
I'm glad I have context for some of these moves he makes, because they wouldn't have made sense from the compilations I've seen. While it seems like a cheap strategy to win in Rainmaker, it also looks like more effort than it's worth: Ya gotta get close to enemy goal, then backtrack all the way to a spot where your team can guard the rainmaker... wouldn't it be more profitable to go for the KO anyway?
I’ve been on something of a marathon watching putz clips and this is by far the oddest I’ve seen so far. I cannot for the life of me figure out why he RETREATED so far with the rainmaker, stood still while he got splatted, did nothing to counter the enemy popping the rainmaker, and then blamed his team when they lost the lead after he brought it all the way over there. What could he possibly have he been trying to accomplish???
Kinda smart play but executed horribly. Camping rainmaker seems pretty easy this map, if the grates are the only way into spawn, just hold the choke which shouldn’t be the hardest. Though why did no one hold the rainmaker? It has infinite shots and can camp itself decently well provided support. Even so, if things get bad, jump off the map and reset the rainmaker, forcing the enemy team to back up to grab it. Unfortunately the enemy team was already advancing the attack to the goal, and camping against an inkjet isn’t going to end well. Likely just beat to reset rainmaker and farm special to try and hold off the last push
I don't blame him for getting upset since that does seem like a good idea of keeping the rainmaker in that spot. Though Putz probably should have walked to the tower to guard it since he should have clearly saw the Forge Splattershot Pro player sneaking up to jump on the mass at 0:47.
All he had to do was suicide to reset the rainmaker. That would have pushed the rainmaker back to the middle. Also, the rainmaker clock runs faster than the game clock. It's only a good idea to hold it down around the last 30 seconds.
I just want to say, you gotta love how putz is always going on about how he hates players who refuse to play offensively. Offensive play here in this situation would've been trying to get a better lead or a knockout victory. Which is what his teammates were trying to do I think. What did putz do? He played *defence*!! The complete opposite of what he usually does. I can't understand this man sometimes.
At first he was smart to camp by their base to save time and not rush out into the enemies, but he was an idiot later and should have killed himself to reset the rainmaker thus giving his team more time to prepare and hold them back. Even then, this guy is the epitome of salt, manchildness, and mental. He needs to grow up and get a life.
