PVC Column Wraps from Nu-Wood are as easy to install as they are beautiful. Watch this start to finish video on how to install Column Wrap. www.nu-wood.com
This install video was done on a house with a front porch that did not actually receive the pvc column wrap. So the steel column was too shot we improvised with the 2x4 just to hold the steel post in place for temporary placement of the column - it's since been removed.
based on the placement of my current set of columns, I might have some overhang if I place the stone facade on it (which is what I want). My set up looks like your porch - any thoughts on how to make it look neat if there is some overhang?
Dennis - I forwarded your questions to guys with brains much larger than mine - someone should respond in the next day or so. Thank you for reaching out and asking! Tim
I just talked to Randy - there are many variables, which Randy will be happy to assist you with. If you will take a picture or two of your specific project, and email with additional details to sales@nu-wood.com - Randy will be happy to review and communicate your options. Or email direct to rmiller@nu-wood.com
Yo Co, that style of column comes in lengths from 72" to 144". I don't remember what this particular column was. You can download our catalog by visiting nu-wood.com/ to see all of our styles and sizes.
Terrance - Good morning! If you simply add a block of wood to the supporting post where the railing is going to be, you can then install the column wrap and then attach the railing with screws that go into the block of wood. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Dan, it was 3 years ago - we are scratching our heads trying to remember....Randy, the "old guy" in the video thinks it was an 8". Thanks for the interest, and please feel free to reach out to Randy, our VP of Sales at Nu-Wood if you have any other questions at sales@nu-wood.com.
