Thanks for the video. It's funny that everyone commented on the music but no one asked about the price and weight comparisons. At the end of the day, the facts are what matter, I just muted the music, no biggie. Also there are vinyl, PVC, fiberglass and aluminum wraps. Have you tried them all? I was looking for a comparison of pros/cons when I found your video. Also, I am doing an initial build and considering load bearing non-wood columns. Any thoughts?

When you first applied the glue on the wrap and put it together you clamped it. Did you clamp the stationary sides and let them set up before installing in the post? If not, what was the purpose of the clamps?

Does the wrap need to be flush against the existing column? I want to install this around an existing colonial style column that is 5" at the top and bottom, circular in the middle. I'm also installing railings. Basically, if the wrap is not flush with the existing column, will it be solid and supportive.

vdery nice, but it looks like the concrete guy didn't figure in the wrap size. Little overhang on the bottom there. I would see that every day.

How do you do a 1/2 post wrap against a wall?

Id like to wrap 3' x 3' aluminum posts in a pool deck. Is there a wrap that can accommodate that size post?

How do you fix a rotten wood column on a stilt house? The bottom part is inside the ground. It is one of the corner columns. There is a slab on the first floor and the part that the slab touches the column seems to be fine but the part that is at the outside where the water from the roof falls is getting rotten. Do I cut the column to the level of the slab and put a concrete pier underneath? The ground level where the slab is, has been close to make an apartment this makes me think a Simpson strong tie won't be an option, correct? Any help will be deeply appreciated.

You showed clamps in use - what was the for as it doesn't appear necessary the way the system is engineered. Also, what were the other trim components you used? The other trim pieces - were those leftovers from the cut versawrap product or different products purchased?

Caution- don’t go crazy with the glue or the corners will appear melted

The music is horrible.

The music is like fingernails on a blackboard, and why play throughout the entire video? Too loud and too much. Most people would prefer a no nonsense video that gets to the point.

I could do without the obnoxious music
