A few issues of the talents: 1. for seal fate, mutilate has 2 hits, which means it is not simply one crit or not. If you mutilate has about 35% crit rate (after considering talent and resil), the actually chance of getting 3 cp is close to 60%. It is still very powerful. 2. focused attack is very useful when fighting dps+healer, especially when you use 2 fast weapons. More energy -> more cp -> more envenom -> more poison damage. It is way more than a little more damage for mutilate/envenom. 3. Setup is good I like it too. But it's still better to have at least 1 point for camouflage. 8s stealth cd will make it much easer for reset. And 2 points for setup is already good enough considering the 1s cd.
It for sure feels like it. Assa was famous for doing insane damage without any gear in PvE, which translated well to PvP. Going full Resil worked really well in combination with the good base dmg, but in the latest season everyone out scales you in terms of damage, and stacking resil doesn't keep up with the insane dmg everyone is doing these days.
Seal fate and focused attacks is a must i think. if you keep using mutilate and get more cp's, you can use slab more often and get so much more energy and spam more mutilates , evenoms , and so on. its really a huge dps diff. i think using dark matter and also maybe a haste trinket as human make your oppener really insane for the 10 - 15 first seconds. what i like to Do is usually is also Coldblood + envenom instead of KS at opening. it really keeps pressure instantly and you still have a KS cooldown if things gown wrong. Also the 6% damage bonus of offsensive abilities are a waste of points i think since its 3 points, and murder is 2 for all damage. For glyphs i like to moove Prep for a Gouge one. when you are very good a using cooldowns its a must but around 1k8 - 2k elo i would say you are never using the prep correctly to get your disarm another time. and if you do, its half the duration so 2.5 on warrior. its not a big deal, use one Disarm correctly first and you will be fine.
I mostly agree with you after playing more with seal fate & focused attacks. Against Hpal/War I always KS in the opener to give my druid time for a free cyclone on the pally. It's hard to imagine that you get enough deadly poison stacks in the opener to go for a CB envenom as the first finisher. I like to have the prep glyph for double kick.
Sadly we only have a slow dagger 1.8 as an option for main-hand. I'd go for the quick 1.4 dagger for off-hand just for the reduced energy cost of shiv.
