I like how these Alien comics are more than just Marines blasting Xenomorphs; there really is alot of deep thought and introspection going on about the nature of humanity, the mentality of the Xenomorphs, and if machines are capable of emotions and feelings...
HazzardousEco - Pertinent topics, considering the direction humanity blindly rushes headlong into. The most recent artificials are in fact life forms. Rudimentary capabilities of reason and occasional independent thought alone dictate this so. Just think - humanity will finally get past racism and bigotry once we have something artificial to focus on. Life we created, and cannot bring ourselves to recognize.
People tend to forget that the Alien Comics were brilliant deep interwoven terrifying illustrations that really sucked you into the Xeno universe of madness.. Awesome video bro.. I'm glad I found your channel! ✌👍
Imo theyre a waste of alien/xenomorph as a concept. They are decently written, but the premise of "ALIUNS INVAD EARTH" is just dumb and so played out and its such a snoozefest. Alien works best in small personal stories, it turns into dumb action flick when you just put hoards of them, they basically become the same story device as zombies.
@@GaenBleid but the played out trope of "huemins sooo dum it tries repeatedly to bring specimens back to earth cause we smart monkeys", mentality was present in the original movies and so this is kinda the byproduct of that idiotic mentality lol
I really wish they would put the books that he's reading parts of from out on audio. They are doing it with the new ones but not the old ones. Maybe they could have Alien Theory read them? Though... AT does a wonderful job on the narration but he would need to step up his game for his character parts. It's not really necessary in these videos. Basically just going over info. As if reading a report. But book narrators, the really good ones at least, do character voices and a lot of times put a lot of emotion in to their readings. All the same, awesome video series. Love that he's doing them using the names of the intended characters.
Imagine how would be awseome if they make Alien games base off the comics these comics are pretty cool to read love to watch from your channel Alien Theory :)
Richo W seriously, I love that people exist to make such quality content for esoteric material. That big studios would never care about. A shame because it's people like Alien Theory that should be consulting for these blockbuster films. This series is better than most of the high budget movies as of late (last Jedi).
How do you think those Xenomorphs got such nice white teeth on both their mouths? They never brush; brushing scraps the white shine/smoothness off the surface. Never brush. yeah, what makes his feelings less real than the ones a human got? if i ask how a synth and a human feels and both said they are sad.....what makes the one less real? no matter if you are human animal or synth, if you are showing me that you are feeling i have no right so say that your feels aren´t the same as mine. if we ever create AI it will be alive, it will have feelings uniqe to it and we don´t understand, thoughts that we can´t comprehend or lable as fake or not real feelings. Hello Mr. Alien Theory. How are you? Very nice stuff you are putting out young man! To be honest, this is my first time commenting on your channel. I must say, I like what you have provided for us as A L I E N S fans. It is much appreciated. You should think about getting into voice acting. Your voice is good for narration. It has that calmness to it. I'm into voice acting/acting. An Alien's fan and film critic/movie buff. I had heard through HN Entertainment that the Alien franchise might be adapted into a series. If this does happen, what are your thoughts/opinion on this? What would you like to see happen? Or should it be only on the big silver screen?
I heard the rumors about the TV series but I’m not sure how credible they are... but if it is true I would honestly want both series and movies like Marvel does lol. But if I had to choose one or the other it would have to be the silver screen. Nothing beats that. Thank you very much for your kind words btw.
Yes, most of the Alien comics have gotten Novelizations. Most recently they have been republished under the series called ALIENS: Omnibus. I think theirs about 7 or 8 novels, but if your looking for Aliens: Earth War. I would recommend reading Volume 1 which contains the full trilogy.
This is fantastic. I’m not to keen on newts character. She always needs saving, she’s always crying, and is always hesitating when she needs 2 act quickly. And the whole falling in love stuff really pisses me off. But 2 be fair, romantic subplots usually make me angry no matter what comics I’m reading🤣 your channel was a real treat. Subscribed🤙🏾

Can't say I noticed any in this video, but sometimes you slightly fluff the pronunciation here and there - that said, this channel is fantastic, and nothing is perfect - but this is close ;). The way you breathe so much life into the material, the narration... I cannot praise you enough. Well done on the 100k subs. Waiting for the million.

Makes me think of replicants from Blade Runner; they may be the synthetics in the Alien-verse. Thought I recall Ridley Scott making a comment about this in some interview or another. That the replicants/synthetics believe they are human in the most advanced models. Random thought
I wrote a comedy skit based on "Lost in Space" where don gets his legs blown off and they give him the Robots HVAC looking legs. He walks around like two accordions and they swish together like courderoy trousers. He has gone insanely jealous and stamps around feeling ridiculous. Poor Don!
I have been loving this series! I have one problem with it though: how is newt so normal and relatable? I mean, she went through Aliens and then spent the rest of her life in a mental institution and had her brain wiped. I'm listening to her laugh and tell the android how love isn't rational and all this stuff but like... How does she know? How does she know what its like to have normal human relationships?

Can anyone explain why there is almost no mention of Ripley in this series? When they do mention her there is no recognition from either Hicks or Newt, like they never actually met her. I guess they're trying to make the Alien 3 story fit with this one but it just seems off.

If the Corporation was serious about suppressing the Xeno's they would build suitably armored synthetics to smash the Xeno's . God knows they have at least a couple of hundred years of research on the creatures relating to strengths and weaknesses. This special group wouldn't be around for socializing just getting the job done when needed and in storage when not needed. You build them along the line of Warhammer 40K Ultra Marines and you have one powerful sledgehammer to use against the Xeno's.!! Its fun to consider what you story lines you could create with other tech.
