Thanks for covering this monument. I have driven by it a number of times (I have a kid at Gettysburg College) but could never tell what it was for. Now I know!

I learned a lot from this video. I had read a brief entry years ago about Sandoe being the first casualty but knew none of his story. Thank you!

I have had difficulty in traveling lately and miss my periodic visits to Gettysburg. These Monuments Monday videos are really entertaining and informative and I especially like the ones that are off the beaten path or otherwise unique.

Wow, this it really very interesting! Thanks Tim. So a make shift unit of Calvert. Can’t imagine why a Pennsylvania unit. Would had this put up knowing they were not there. Adams County Calvery. ❤️👍👊
