PVZ GW2 ON LAUNCH WAS WEIRD…  

I remember the good old days where the Tornado of SuperBrainz and his laser weren't useless

Not to mention the absurd damage of base rose. For a moment we used to call the game Roses vs Zombies

Not to mention the almost nonexistent damage drop off on sb and citron beams

I remember the open beta where super brainz had ammo on his fists

Necrose and Toxic were in the launch version of the game, however they went unused in the games code, originally necrose had a semi-automatic weapon with burst damage and Toxic has a busted as all hell laser having 42 ammo, little recoil and being able to snipe for 17 damage per shot

the day i booted up the game and saw super brainz had two kicks was the day my overall joy peaked

I had a vivid dream from old beta PvZ GW2, with the customization was different, having vibrant colour. I only dreamt it from a video I saw when I was much younger. It was grassy and a bit neon-like.

On release, Party Rose and captain partyman Were BUSTED back then captain partyman shotgun used to only consume 1 ammo and it used to deal 44 and the sniper used to deal 26 headshot damage but with party time it increased to 33.6 as much as base cactus and the shotgun dealt 66 damage. Party Rose used to deal 11 damage which is much higher than now and even with party time but back then her homing range was 75m and she had 125 health it was impossible to outrun her and party time used to make her deal 17 damage nowadays she barely deals 10 damage when she used to outsnipe pirates

Tennis Star, Vampire Flower, Electro brainz, Rose, Captain Sharkbite, and a few others were absolutely cracked on launch.

in launch gw2 barbecue corn was straight up the best corn and easy top 5 plant

I remember when kick got buffed it felt so weird and good

If I remember correctly, super brainz had to reload his punches and druid rose had a different reticle in the open beta. I also think she was semi auto too, but I could be misremembering

Don't forget how ridiculously broken Rose was

Something else of note was also the amount of packs in the game, way more than we have today. Also some funny glitches like getting engi's rocket drone out of packs.

ohhh thats what happened to it i took a break from pvz gw2 and when i came back i noticed that the vacuum wasn't really working but i thought either im just not used to it or they nerfed it until now

At least it wasn't Battle for Neighborville on launch... good god

That explains why now when I bought the game on PC again the tornado doesn't seem powerful at all when before it was so powerful

Back in my day heroic kick could only be used once

rip tennis star, super brains beam, toxic citron, bbq corn, turbo twister, and many more characters that got nerfed into the ground

My biggest flex is that I played PvZ gw1 and 2 in launch

That certainly explains the Turbo-Twister vanquish challenge being there

Why do I get memories of when his punches had a CLIP

The only reason why SB’s laser is still helpful is if your chasing a enemy you can tag em, and they won’t heal if you already damaged them

Also, all the fckn Roses were broken asf and Rock Pea used to have a “push effect” on the Main weapon

i remember going crazy about heroic kick having 2 instead of one

Turbo twister does basically no damage anymore

I thought the numbers on the rank plate were yknow the rank you were on and the numbers to the side showed how far away or how close younare the next rank

The reason y u could only go that high in levels were because of hover goat and torchwood

I miss old bbc corn 😢 he def needed a nerf but nothing compared to what they did to him
