Great Video!! Only a few things I have to add (You had to know I would :)) After testing it a little bit it seems Ransack is only an additive damage modifier and doesn't seem to really boost the damage too much. And with 1 point it would only add a max of 10% dmg. I would personally swap it for a point in overlooked, not aggroing extra mobs is super important i find for a stabber. For Damage to disease link: these would be great if you're doing an Omni or a boss that is already diseased for you, but for solo farming you're probably gonna kill the mob in 2 shots and its only going to get used a maximum of 21% of the time due to blackguard procs. I went with Melee Damage/Armor Ignore for my 21+ links. You could also swap in dungeon slayers or wilderness dmg links. LOVE THE BACKSTABBER SUPPORT!!!
Hell yeah dude nice stuff! ; Personally I'll take the dmg boost over a single tile and slight gold boost. Even if 10% additive max. The damage to disease links are for blackguard procs. As you get higher in your chain and using more golds you will hit the 10k cap ceiling more often. The blackguard proc lets that initial hit go beyond the 10k hit (Hit+blackguard proc) where macing wouldnt. Then the damage to diseased links kick in during the blackguard proc. Hence the bit about monsters sub 10k being best used with macing/llower aspect/links etc and fencing being the go to for beyond 10k hp monsters at high aspect links/gold etc. I tend to refrain from posting slayer links as they are kinda obvious and only factor in to that particular region.
@@Jagfrisker I may be incorrect on this. But backstab damage links are multiplicative. Therefore increase damage more than an additive damage modifier such as ransack. Don't get me wrong. Its not bad. But it maxes out at 30% additive (assuming you have 10 steps remaining) at 6 points added. It's totally usable. I usually go with the extra gold/black goods. But I'm also a veteran backstabber.

I started playing outlands a month and a half ago and decided to go with the backstabber, I have to afk a lot so it was perfect. I also run 2 gatherer's while playing the backstabber, It's been very useful for making gold and getting my self going on the server. Being able to manage them while hiding works really well, especially due to the amount of PK's there are going for my LJ's. Being able to run the two lumberjacks while I'm grinding in a dungeon lets me make over 500k+ a day with just the two gatherer's alone (not including what I make killing on the backstabber). I love the playstyle. I'm gonna echo into an arcane mage soon but I feel like backstabber will remain my main in my heart now. Keep it Tanked is very active in the discord, and he's helped me out a lot with my stupid questions in my journey to run his build! I love this community. I feel at home.
Ive been using the poison backstabber build and been having a blast. I do however, sometimes feel bad. Ill over aggro, run, hide, and those mobs will attack another player. T8 poison and sometimes ill tick 1k + with 2 bronze poison dmg links. I'v tried a bunch of templates and this one I'm having the most fun with. Its refreshing being hidden when a group of reds show up and run right past ya.

Definitely an easy switch! Id switch tracking out for fe personally and lower camping some. As you can see in the comments, TONS of different exceptional ways to Backstab! 😉
@@PwnstarrGaming item id normal slayer is 25, greater is 45. Forensic is 30% and huge money maker- just seems bit like a strange trade when alraedy hitting 10k hits only at 11 links(silver) down in ak4 / maus 4 You def need the damage on a new character- but what newbie runs around with slayer weapons ^^
@@fgklfglhf there is a guide for the newbies on here. But this isn't it. Item id effects all magic properties, not just the slayer. Definitely something you might enjoy playing with a bit if you got some power + laying around. (Hence the huge price increase on them) But all is easily switchable to your liking, and resources. 😃 as I mentioned in this video and is referenced multiple times in the 100 other ways people have built their backstabbers 😉
Maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure if you are using ruffian then item id wont do anything as the tactics of the weapon doesn't matter. I started using NPC bought weapons and I do the same damage as avarite because the tactics is cut out of the equation and only stealth is used.
@@PwnstarrGaming I found a reply from Luthius in the thieves-pvm from a couple years ago and he does say that bonus tactics is added on even with Ruffian so perhaps I need to test it again.

@@PwnstarrGaming actually forgot. Didn't have tactics. Took fencing and macing as you get bonus from having 2 weapon skills and you level both at same time
@@James-cn5rv Same, I've gone 120 Stealth/Camp/Forensic, 100 Hide/Steal and 80 mace/Track. Damage isn't the best but the Blood Dragons / Daemons in AK3 go down in 2 hits which gets me what I'm after.... gold n leather.
The Arcana build laughs at the backstabers. The backstaber has a limit of 2 mobs per minute. Arcana fires with the same damage, but without having to wait 20 seconds. You just go into the room and shoot everyone while the backstabber stands there waiting for 10 seconds like a fool :)
@@Jagfrisker i really enjoy the arcane skill! So much fun. Really glad there are so many templates, playstyles, and situations where each excel on outlands and not everyone is the exact same thing.
