Welcome to Pwnstarr Gaming - I've really taken interest in video editing and creating videos for games. It is my goal to improve editing with every single video I do. Please don't hesitate to give me pointers or critiques. Enjoy!

Man. I paid for a retail subscription last month to check it out. The enhanced client runs at 200fps but the client was clearly rushed to market back in the day and they have done nothing to address its issues. I also couldn't believe they had a shop. You can buy things like a skill increase to get 5 stills to 90 for like $25. Dog shit. I also tried a few other ones like UOalive and insane uo just to check it out. Outlands is untouchable. Just the quality of life changes in the user interface are remarkable. The other UO games were actually pretty damn cool and I can see why people would have fun with them. But the UI is dogshit. Long live king outlands. What a magnificent job the outlands devs have done
You know I read about that. And I didn't really understand what that meant. But seeing this it is borderline unplayable. At least coming from outlands.
i liked this old taming bestiary more. it made us tame every beast in the game, which was very fun. now there is no reason for that kind of exploration anymore.
Thats how you gain the point is by leveling different creatures, no? Also the more creatures you level the more stable slots you get and achievement points. This just gives us options on pets vs a set upgrade
PwnstarrGaming! Good to see you're still cranking out videos and enjoying UO Outlands. I'm coming back after a year long hiatus and want to just restart from the ground up...Which is my usual. Looking forward to new adventures. :)
I got you. Out of the things you didn't have time to mention there's also Strangelands, pit trials, trade caravans, board games, and fishing (which is unique enough to deserve its own mention outside of other gathering skills). Edit: Almost forgot plant growing and breeding as well (or just finding pets with good stats to tame for that matter).
Just started on outlands. I hired a room for 5k. And experimenting with the skills. I really like the game so much so I need to donate. But I got no clue about things lol 😂
Is Outlands still around??? I've been trying to access the website for a few days, but get a 505 error... the UO Outlands reddits "newest" post was years ago... am I misremembering my time at Outlands? Was it really YEARS ago, and it no longer exists???
Its just sad that for all these Meta type builds there are only 4-5 aspects you can use. Discipline, death, blood, fire, water, frost, lightning etc. almost most of them are garbage or need 30 gold links where a poisoner or Arcane already OP with 15 links. Its becoming like aspect cemetery. Make all aspects OP!
@@Nocturnalcan eh, I think its good not all aspects are equal. Makes for great early game activation aspects to use as a stepping stone at a much lower cost
@@PwnstarrGaming In all MMOs there is no such a thing like weak class. Some are more OP than the others but all of them are very very powerful. Look at WoW or GW2 or new MMOs coming up like Ashes of creation. They make you to play with everything and not only particular ones. We are in 21st century and gaming has changed. If we want new players coming up all these aspects should be balanced and everything should be buffed.
My necro/poisoner/mage is my main pvm and i am about to be able to activate my very first aspect (which will be frost) should i go for it abd use it until i can afford to unlock the one i really want? (poison aspect)
Started Shadow back in 2018-2019 when Wes Furtive streamed it, never looked back. 6 years later, still loving the playstyle, especially with the recent buffs from the expansion!
Yep, I'm the basic dexxer, with Resist instead of Lore. I just maxxed my skills and got out of Shelter, and it is sooooo difficult being a dexxer right out of the gate. I'm currently trying to get a Mastery Chain, and get a Sword and Parry Codex... so I can already tell I have my work cut out for me. I know I'm not ready for a dungeon yet because the over-world creatures are challenging enough for me. Thanx for the videos.
Thanks needed this... Been on a 2 year break from Outlands and needed a refresher. Its overwhelming coming back after a long break, I only log in to refresh my house. Arcane is new since I last played... kinda interested in trying it.
25yr break, searching up UO music I see one of your vids in feed, click, and now I'm starting back up consuming all your stuff. You glorious bastard :)
Poison dexer is not a template I recommend a new player at all. They're not a cheap character to build up both in skills and aspect. The gameplay is also very different to regular dexers. Your damage is not in hits but in poison, and your will notice in the beginning you will struggle with killing monsters fast enough. The good news about the template is that once you have Poison aspecr high enough, you can echo to a Poison mage build and use that for boating.
Funny, i recorded the voice/camera part of this video at 6am. I was obviously puffy eyed and sleepy lol If you haven't already, make sure and subscribe! bit.ly/333bwSr www.tameoutlands.com As stated in the video; the templates are videos I have previously done or in one case right off the Template section of the wiki. Always use your judgement based on what monsters you kill regularly, resources you have at your exposure, how deep into your mastery chain or aspect, as well as your preferred playstyle and adjust accordingly :) Thank you all for watching and hitting like :)
Is the poison dexxer still viable? I read something recently talking about it being nerfed. Have a decent poison aspect and was considering starting it up. Thank you.
It did get nerfed slightly (taste id no longer gives Poison Resist Ignore) but the nerf was mostly to target poison mages hitting stings of 10k+ on 5 links.
It is really nice, I currently play poison dexxer and i've only got 7 links unlocked and I can somewhat farm aegis 4, its pretty comfy for boating too. Alchemy really makes this build shine because it will resolve poisons super fast as you are swinging your kryss... its also pretty tanky because it has access to the parrying codex and the healing codex. What kinda sucks about it is you can't be flexible at all in the links you are using. Damage to poisoned creatures, Damage to diseased creatures and Poison damage/Poison resist ignore.
@@Drawfill damage to poisoned creatures does not increase the poison ticks, only your hits. Tbh not worth it for a poison dexer. Same with damage to disease.
Doesnt the bard need 80 in music to be able to use the codex, even with self taught? Im confused with how that works, my bard had 100 peace 100 discord + self taught and I couldnt bard barely anything until I raised 80 music.
