The actors were great. but I am not sure why so many comments state that this movie was confusing. it made absolute sense to me, it's followed a simple line of events and ended the way it should.
Came to devour anything Kim Hae Wook is in! I will watch anything with him in it. There isn’t enough out there. What is the opposite of over exposure!!!! That’s the problem. This gem is too well hidden. We have wasted many years not putting him in things and admiring it. I want to see enough of him to begin to get sick of him....though is that possible with a versatile actor like him?

Kim Jae Wook is actually manly man. People who see him at first might think because he has beautiful face and delicate gesture consider him as gay. But he's not. He was a model, so that influence his posture. But when you see him in a band, you will see his manly character. His celebrity friends said the same thing that he's a manly man. He has relationship with a woman before but it was not publicized. He's very private about his personal life.
@@ns2hz46 Of course. He's definitely not gay. He is against discrimination on gay people but that is just his view not his orientation. He sees it as a challenge to play Min Sun Woo or Hedwig. He is straight. Don't believe otherwise told by people who only speculate. He has explained about this before that he is straight but some people are still holding prejudice towards him.
I came to watch Kim JaeWook but got bonus seeing Kim Joon, how I missed him in drama after the old BBF, wonder what he's doing now, he should come out more on new drama.
Going by the Greek myth of Pygmalion, then surely Kim Jae Wook's character should've got the girl as he was the sculptor (Pygmalion) and she (indirectly) his 'Galatea'. Still, as always, Kim Jae Wook stole every scene he was in. The man is just the embodiment of acting skills.
I watched this last night. Spoiler alert...regarding the ending....mika decided that she couldnt go thru with jun because she really had feelings for gion. And jun since he really loved her was man enough to let her go because he understood how she felt (last scene at the tree). Then gion never really lost his memory after hospitalization after his accident. He realized that his girlfriend wasnt mika and that jun really loved mika so he chose to pretend. The fact that he remembered is shown in the sculpture that he made because the necklace pendant was a planet/moon and not a fishtail which was the pendant he gave his late gf. So when mika went to the exhibit she saw that the scuplture was her..Gion kissing the sculpture and leaving the necklace there and then smiling as if embararassed and the light closing after he passed means that he chose to move on with his life. All in all a bittersweet story but i have come to expect that from japanese films....
Mika put her necklace on the statue. When they first show the statue the necklace is not on it. Because of this I find ending very confusing. I think the statue is his girlfriend. Don’t know why Mike thought it was her. Also don’t understand meaning of putting both necklaces on the statue since it had nothing to do with girlfriend. If he could remember that she had told him that she loved him he should have stayed with her, so I don’t think he did.
Am a student of both Japanese and Greek. The former for it's language and culture, and the latter for my (our) collective unconscious.Umm, my question now is: are there any heroes when 'it comes to love'?. A word which I do not impugn. this movie is based off of the story of Pygmalion in Greek mythology. If you become familiar with that story then the movie makes perfect sense and is actually pretty good. But i think the filmmaker's/ writer's fault in this movie is not making the story clear for those that don't know greek mythology. But at the same time I can't help but to feel like this movie wasn't made to be entertaining I think it was more made as just a personal artistic expression of the filmmaker/writer.
Knowing of that pygmalion effect ..but this is something too much .. the most frustrating movie ive ever watch ... I was like "what the heck??????????"

The last kiss scene is so fascinated! Too beautiful face & thank to the true feeling you give us Kim Jeauck...A Pygmalion's love is should be as a poem that way!
This was good, I love confusing thing like this, because it's the heart, that makes you go crazy quick,...I have lost my mind too, due to the death of somebody I loved.
It's a bit confusing but i really get it. Indeed a great movie👍🏻 loved it! Spoiler: Kion pretended that he forgot everything about mika in order to protect his friend(jun chan) from hurting.. Thats why when mika saw the sculpture she said that he/kion didnt forget her.. Kion loves mika but he let her go.
i also believe that he didn't really forget about Mika, it's just that he had to do that so that Mika would go back to Jun chan. When they were at the lighthouse, Mika had told him that she is willing to be Hyojin just so he will be happy. I think, he realized that he cannot be selfish to let Mika be someone else just for his own sake. He finished the sculpture for Mika. And Mika eventually realized that she was really not forgotten by Kion. I love that their lockets are now together with the sculpture.
I watched it till the end but I didn't understand 😬 why mika was saying something like hyujin next to the tree . and why Gion was kissing and smiling at the end . and why the he'll does everyone keep loosing their memories 😠... it was so confusing but still a nice movie

Its a bitter sweet movie. Got confused towards the end but its ok. Kim Jae Uck is all that matter. I hope someone is able to upload ’another way’ movie soon.

I first saw Jae-wook in Coffee Prince. He's really a great actor. But I admired him more after watching the movie Antique adopted from Antique Bakery manga, together with Ju Ji-hoon. He's really a gem.

I think that by taking the necklaces off, they cut the 'forever' channel and accept the fact that the past is gone and behind. Kion's kiss was a goodbye kiss, just like Mika's leaving the necklace behind was leaving her feelings for Kion behind. Thank you for a lovely unconventional movie. Got me confused... And thinking ❤️
