They are a cool looking unit. Hope they add some more Pyke units in the future (like those large combat droids from Book of Boba Fett).

I really wish I was playing the game more.. The pike (and shadow collective) are adding some fun looking things to the game. Still want the Ohnaka Gang, and some Zygerrians too.

I have all 3 boxes built and ready to paint! I love the Pyke, I think they look fantastic. Fact you get 8 units and the box says 7 surprised me indeed. So ready to play these!!!

The Pikes sold me on this new wave. Not that I would have missed the Collective, but the Pikes are a highlight for me.

Since I will mainly play the Shadow Collective I love those guys. I think thay will be the core of most of my army's. Jes the Black Sun hit harder... but the pikes are just so cost effective, hard to remove and range 2. That leaves more space for even mor Mandos!

In our groups play tests of shadow collect so far Pikes just will not die.

I think the sonic imploders actually have a place in suppression builds. Adding another weapon that's also suppressive gives one or two suppression to a unit at range 1 if you split fire with just that mini. I think it fits well with the electrowhip heavy in the speeder truck.

I still don't know how many Shadow Collective boxes to get lol every time I think "oh I'll get this many and then this many extras of the individual units" until I remember how much of a better value the Shadow Collective box is.... Looks like I'm gonna have 6 Maul models lol

wonder if the whip will be an equip card for the capo further down the line, or that originally the capo also had a whip and they changed the rules design but not the sprue

Not sure I want to take a unit that cant use my leaders courage and has only 1 courage. All the Suppressive attacks out there could easily rout them. But there probably is a way to run them I have-not considered. being a droid player I tend not to worry too much about suppression. I am def thinking 501st and some clones are in my future, but I will prolly get some of these guys too.

They are an impressively survivable unit. I plan to run 5-6 with Maul and a few other units that can hit hard

@@payso6960 I got 4 core boxes and two squad boxes. I definitely recommend having access to 6 pyke squads for Shadow Collective. They are a cheap and survivable core and generally make up the backbone of any list. Do you need 6 no, but it will limit your list building if you don't have them.
