PYRA AND MYTHRA FRAME DATA ANALYSIS

When alpharad asks for a character, Nintendo always complies, and oh also makes them SS tier for some reason.

Apparently Pyra/Mythras (I forgot what it’s called) “bats within mechanic” gives them a TON of react time which is busted

I checked a few things about them : Mythra has a weight of 92 (like Wolf), a run speed of 2.42 (like Sheik) and pretty much the same jumps, fall speed and air speed as Wolf. Pyra has a weight of 98 (like Mario), a run speed around 1.397792 (like Doctor Mario), an air speed around 1 (like Palutena), a fall speed around 3.02 (like Mario) and a jump height around 2.6 (similar to Doctor Mario). Some of those calculations might be slighly wrong, but I'm pretty convinced they're really close to the truth... Hope I could help.

I might be insane but pryra side B into footstool? Try it lmk Edit: I found out that you can do b side B into footstool jab 1 into side b footstool jab 1 into up B and does 73% but it requires your opponent to miss 2 techs (you can just shorten it to side b footstool jab 1 into up B and it does around 50%) this can be done at high percents as a kill option and for some reason the jab 1 after footstool doesnt work on mythra and probably other characters too I have to lab some more lmk what you think of this...

Now is your time Esam. The big 5 except for Pikachu have all been nerfed, and I suspect those nerfs mean alot.

In top of all that when you change to Pyra/Mythra you fall while doing it. Pretty much an airdodge with less lag. And if you change to Mythra in particular, you fall faster. Not as much as a fast fall airdodge but still!

So basically Mythra is for offline, Pyra is for online?

Its insane how much worse these characters get on platform stages. I am not sure if they thought about this while making them but mythras up b projectile is basically useless on stage. All the combos with it that would work are denied by platforms. Pyras saving grace, that was the up b out of shield kill, stops you at platforms as well, and you dont even drag the opponents you hit with the start up along with you to the platform, making it basically useless on platform stages as well. Pyras neutral B is obviously bad and she is so god damn slow incineroar seems like a race car in comparison. I went into training mode with them trying all sort of combos and edgeguards and stuff, went online immediately went elite smash cause I only encountered stages with no platforms and then I got battlefield. Ho boy I couldnt do shit. It felt so limiting to see all my moves get completely disabled by the existence of platforms there. It was really not enjoyable to play. This might be the worst dlc character yet by pure strength and balance. Maybe mythras basic moves with her speed are enough to make her playable. But I dont see any of her other moves being used and i dont see pyra being used at all.
