@@justabazikdude8592 Pyra's does work differently, so you have to know the spacing where you can do that.

I mean with Lucas, his up-b is kinda easy to edgeguard if done properly. IF you have a counter, you can counter the move, or do proper spacing and do a F-smash into them. OR, you hit them off the stage enough for them to use their up-b, just hit them while their doing it; either spike them, or just hit them away from the stage.

​@@byronvonedmund You pretty much have the stuff in the video. Adapt it to Lucas' recovery. Thing is: between a tether, upB, great air dodge, stalling with their specials, plus great aerials to contest yours, Lucas have a lot of options to mix you up and escape edge guards. So either you have your matchup on deck and should focus on reading their options returning to stage and punishing them. Or you probably better not overextend and just focus on ledge trap. Two things to watch for: When you push them far enough off stage that you KNOW they'll have to recover with their upB, keep the pressure up. Time an aerial to clank with their upB projectile, walk off stage and fair, pressure with Ray of Punishment/Chroma Dust, etc... Lucas and Ness really like to airdodge to the ledge so try this: jump offstage to force their option and instantly jump back with an aerial to catch their airdodge.
