The Pyramid of Khufu is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World which can still be seen in its original state. 146 metres high, 230 metres wide, and made from almost 2.5 million blocks, including 63-tonne granite slabs, the Pyramid of Khufu breaks all the records. Surely something so colossal done by many workers, the workers should have passed some oral stories down about how they built them. To think they talk about the magnificent and magnitude in which they were built but never talk about the labor intensive work it would take humans as far as. Food sources, and amount of water it would take to complete a project by humans. Especially in the hot dry desert. To think what’s more impressive than the standing pyramids is the fact that people came together and even had the confidence that such a feat was possible. Imagine telling people today they would be building pyramids in the desert day in and day out and without the use of modern tech. How did these people not die from exhaustion, dehydration and be deficient in electrolytes day in and day out.

It didn't take 100,000 workers, that's what Herodotus thought. It was discovered (kind of) recently that it might have taken ~20,000 workers.

Add in the women that had to cook day in and day out and water runners that had to constantly supply water. The farmers that had to cultivate enough food to sustain an appetite it would take the human body to consume to be efficient everyday in the hot dry desert. Not including the animals that were used to haul material. To perform this on the level archeologists say they did these guys would have been burning over a few 1ks of calories a day and drinking close to a gallon of water a day to stay hydrated. Did they understand electrolyte imbalances and mineral deficiency to combat, heat exhaustion,dehydration. It’s a lot that has to be studied. That’s why I know they had something back then that made them confident enough to say yes we have all the right tools to build this. We can take a 1000 men right now and in a week more than half probably would have checked out.

I hate that guy he is the one that keeps on saying that it was a national project how on earth does he know he is just guessing no one knows how they were built. What I believe is that the Egyptian found all these structures and thought they were built by gods and started copying everything like the statues the way the statues were dressed, the pyramids etc....

Interesting to see that Hawass used the Indigenous African term Khufu from the actual Mdw Ntr (Hieroglyphs) themselves instead of continuing to use the invading Greek term Cheops like he has always done before..👏🏿
