I heard the one loud and clear, when you said you didn’t know if it’s on the audio. Without headphones. That forested area looks like it could be creepy if the tree were in full bloom. They probably knew you were there as soon as that bird told on you. That is some beautiful, rugged country. Thanks for the video.
Such a beautiful wild place there! I was so excited to see the bottle on the tree! How are the chances that you'll find a bottle stuck on a tree in this vast wilderness? You were guided there to be shown the connection and show it to us. The horizontal treetrunk where you were looking for the stump was broken off of one of the trees where it was stuck in. You can see the leftover of the tree. So the Basajaun is still alive in the minds of the locals (?), whereas here no one has a clue since the Wild man was liquidated from our minds hundreds of years ago. All the best and looking forward to the next one!
That bottle was very funny because imediately thought about the ones you found. That place is pristine, you dont see litter/garbage left on the forest, so the bottle was pretty obvious. The Mountainious areas are harsh places to live, people living there preserve those memories much better, the same here in Portugal, folklore, ancient traditions, etc, they survive there, better then in any other place, because those places were forgotten during centuries by the progress of civilization and religion. Regarding the stump you probably right, and I can imagine the tree falling into place like that hiting something and going backwards, its really hard to know what it could or could not be done by them, and I really think the majority of what you see in nature or on video done by people researching is in fact nature itself
Since the Patterson Gimli footage in 67 we are struggling to film one alone. Filming one building a structure would be a miracle I guess, but we keep trying to understand if they build them and why they build them. Most people are for sure now thinking why not placing a game camera pointing towards a stick structure, but the answer would be, that, they would simply leave that wood struture abandoned. All the best Deb
The wine bottle on the tree about 50:00 oh yes we've seen that before my friend..when later it was very quiet how was the energy then? As always peace and love Billy from Ireland 🇮🇪
great video, beautiful landscape! the "whooping owl" sounds quite suspicious to me! and the whole territory is clearly marked by the forest folks aka basajaun in this case ... . did you find footprints anywhere there?
Unfortunetly no, but the soil was frozen. I generaly go there in January so I can track on the snow, but this last winter was very atypical in the region with low precipitation.
