Thanks for a very instructive video. i need a solution for my begonia venesta Orange Flame Vine plant purchased from a nursery. for Rs 300 about 2 1/2 ft height. It had buds. I forgot to water for a couple of days and the plant was in full sunlight area. I stay in Delhi and the sun was extremely hot 10 days back. The leaves have dried, some buds bloomed - remaining fell. I had watered limited amount daily =since then. Pl advise how to save it.
Very informative video and love all your flowering bougainvilleas too! I have a pyrostegia venusta in a pot and it's now grown up and across a trellis so is about 5-6 feet tall. I'm hoping it will flower next month as there is an established one nearby that covers a 30-foot long wall and looks really spectacular in December. Of course, that one is in the ground. If mine doesn't bloom, I will follow your advice for next summer. One question...when you say to feed with kitchen waste, do you just put it on the top of the pot or do you rot it down first? I don't have any room to compost waste, unfortunately. Thanks. :)
If it's in the ground veggie waste would attract rodents...it is better to dig up a small trench near the plant and add the waste and cover it with soil...or simply mulch with shop bought compost. Hope this helps
what should be the pot size pls suggest. I also have this plant. and 12 inch and 18 inch empty pot. for 18inch that is in the iron stand and in balcony so not very easy to move it, pot is on a height of 1ft..

I have been your follower and have a doubt needs to be clarified by you. Shall I give epsom salt to my epsom salt to my portulaca, succulants and kalanchoe?
Once established mine is totally neglected apart from water and sun. Absolutely spectacular climbing over my villa in Marbella espania. Guess it's the 320 days of sun and it's on an SW elevation
