In this video, I discuss pyrrole disorder - one of the most common nutrient imbalances in brain-related conditions affecting adults and children. Elevated Hydroxyhemopyrrolin-2-one (HPL) in the urine, often referred to as “pyrroles,” has been associated with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, autism, ADHD, learning disorders, substance use disorders, and violent behavior. Here, I address:
1. How pyrrole disorder relates to other “root causes.”
2. What we know, what we don’t know, and why this topic is controversial.
3. Causes.
4. Zinc and B6 depletion and how these impact brain health.
5. Brain and physical symptoms and traits.
6. Treatment.
7. How low-stress tolerance can impact one’s ability to pursue meaningful education, work, and relationships.

@@courtneysnydermd-holisticp3072 yes of course Three years ago I came across the term “hyper mobility” during a rheumatologist consultation. He dismissed any issues with my health. Mind you I was unable to stand for good fifteen minutes at a stretch due to my fibromyalgia flares So Sensitivity to light and noise, fibromyalgia, hyper mobility, sensitivity to fabrics and smells. Easily triggered and isolation. … Would Pyrrole by considered under Bipolar Disorder? Wondering 💭 Please advise

What type of zinc is best for pyrrole disorder?

@@susanwilson4069 I wouldn't necessarily say that one form is better, however I usually use zinc picolinate because it is the best absorbed.

Well there is. Highly Sensitive person also. Which already makes your whole nervous system more sensitive especially to this chaotic world we live in

Yes. I agree. I think for those of us who are highly sensitive, there's a lot more that we need to do in these modern times to find calm.

How many of these people with so many health issues are suffering from the SAD diet that modern farm8ng practices in growing that Phood.

@@Needless2say I agree diet (and the nutritional quality of the food) can be a factor, but usually there are other factors that appear to be at play that are driving pyrroles up (and secondarily decreasing B6 and zinc).

Thanks for getting more information about this condition out there. I tick nearly all the boxes for it, according to online questionnaires I've done. Have you noticed patients presenting symptoms of high inflammation with pyroluria? I often have scalp pain, despite an anti-inflammatory diet. I wonder if there was a connection between inflammation and pyrroles.

Great video. Thank you! Can you do a video on Gilbert’s Symdrome and Pyrolle. I am seeing some Doctors say these are related.

Thank you. If you can share with me the information you're seeing, I'm glad to check it out. I see a lot of people with pyrrole disorder, but have only seen a few people with Gilberts. While there may be a relationship for those who have Gilbert's, for most with pyrroles, there's another source of pyrroles. Again, I'm glad to look into it and comment further.

The thing that shocks me about the pyrrole myth is that researchers have not considered the idea that they should run tests to determine B6 and zinc levels before AND after "pyrrole treatment". It should be no surprise as to why the "targeted nutrients" help those who have mental health disorders, they are literally mental health multivitamins.
@juliuss.5797
@juliuss.5797 2 месяца назад
if you tend to treat people regardless of whether pyrolles are "high or not" then why bother testing at all? the amount of ambiguity in psychiatry "science" shocks me

@@juliuss.5797 Hi. When pyrroles are especially high, we use EPO (omega 6), avoid omega-3, and use a higher doses of B6.

My guess is that I have pyrrole disorder, and the avoidance of omega 3 is interesting because I've tried different high quality fish oil supplements many times, and they make me feel like I have the flu.

Low stress tolerance stress avoidence so this is high what is causing autism ocd
@courtneysnydermd-holisticp3072
@courtneysnydermd-holisticp3072 Месяц назад
In my experience, there are multiple factors at play with any brain condition (including autism and OCD). I do think RCCX theory helps connect a lot of the dots. Many people I see with autism spectrum symptoms, and OCD have inflammation, mast cell activation (likely due to a 21-hydroxylasevariants), and an exaggerated stress response. High pyrroles (with low zinc, B6 and Magnesium), candida, and mold and metal toxicity are also very common as are COMT or MAOA variants. I'm usually thinking of an alignment of factors instead of one cause

Courtney, is your soul saved from hell? All have sinned (Romans 3:23 KJV). The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV). Jesus shed His blood for our sins (Ephesians 1:7 KJV). Water baptism DOESN'T save us (1 Corinthians 1:17 KJV). We are saved by grace through faith, not our works (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV). Only Jesus saves from hell.
