It depends on what kind of software you're looking to develop. If it would be a sort of a system utility for networking or a device driver than definitely C, if it would be something high-level like a program with a GUI then probably C++. I personally don't like C++ because I'm very biased towards object oriented approach, but if you like it, as well as C++'s fancy tricks like vectors and templates then why not?
@@rawmeateater maybe python package wasn't loaded on boot. Tiny Core Linux has a specific packaging system. You can try installing python via built in command line tool utility. If it's already installed it should notify you. If you still have issues you can ask a question on a community forum. Tiny core Linux may work differently on various setups, many things to explain that definitely exceeds the comments format.
