Python Project Management with Poetry 

Poetry is a tool to allow you to track and pin your dependencies, build your project, and publish it to Python Package Index (PyPI). If you are still using setup.py, come learn how you can update your workflow to more modern tooling. This introductory talk will walk you through the full end-to-end process of creating a project and eventually publishing it for others to make use of.
Dan Yeaw is the current organizer of Michigan Python, maintainer of the Gaphor modeling tool, and an Engineer at Ford Motor Company. At Ford, he designs complex safety-critical automotive systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering.
