Dr. Ally, thank you for your endeavor in Islamic education. I have a question on the subject of alcohol. How do we determine a halal fermented food? Ex: Soy sauce, miso, etc.
Jacob Carroll that would be a question for a chemist to answer. From what I'm aware, there are certain things that when when fermented produce alcohol but also things that don't. Fermenting wheat, grapes or dates produces alcohol but fermenting rice or soybeans does not. This would make things like miso permissible provided that alcohol doesn't get added(it is very commonly used as a preservative in packaged Japanese foods). Soy sauce is trickier as it can be made with a wide variety of methods. In its purest form, it's the fermentation of soybeans however most mass-produced soy sauce consists of both fermented wheat and soybeans which gives an alcohol content of up to 2% volume. In fact some soy sauces are made with more than 60% wheat. In Japan there's a type of soy sauce called Tamari which is meant to be made completely with soybeans. It also happens to be regarded as very high quality but make sure that it's made completely with soybeans(again, alcohol is a common preservative in Japanese foods)
Even bread contains alcohol. Yeast produces CO2 when they get enough oxygen, that makes bubbles inside the dough, then yeast continues to live even without oxygen and produce ethanol😅
Leaving your prayer is worse than drinking alcohol... Do your zikir, GOD loves those who purifies themselves...never feel hopeless of Gods mercy... Islam means submission - that means to obey gods words... Those who have repented will be in jannah... They say the tears of a sinner is better than the Zikir of the arrogant
As far as i know, no, because who is ti guarantee that you won’t get addicted and drink just slightly more every time. But like i think if a drink has 0.00000000001% of alcohol that is negligible, and if you drink a lot of it, you will never get drunk from it. Only in that case it’s okay, like for example if coca cola had it. But again don’t go off my words, research.
Its bs hadiths, islam is quite complex, reason why we have so much sects.., we abandoned so many hadith, that jews and christians used for them selves, to create the modern western world.. islam is what made what west so powerful,.. the saudis and wahabi ruined islam and indoctrinated and corruoted the sunnis and attacked the Shias and abandoned the soufism of islam.
Assalamualaikum wa rahmatuLLāhi wa barakātuh, BarakaLLāhu fēēkum, but the sitting arrangement is somehow bad, or too bad (The Sheikh & the Sister). BarakaLLāhu fēēkum
@@at7860 it's not in the quran and most of the holy men and rightly guided caliphs in Islam's history smoked shisha. If everything that can hurt you in the long run is haram than just about everything is haram. Coffee? Too much you get hypertension. Sugar? Too much you get diabetes. Sunshine? Too much you get skin cancer. Almost all medicines are deadly in large amount but they aren't haram. Smoking is an islamic tradition. Like almost every other enjoyable thing it should be done with limitation. But it isn't written anywhere that is haram by default. No way. If smoking is haram than about every famous man in islam history should be in hell which is ridiculous.
@@MrRedsjack its a sin, when u know u are damaging ur body (smoking) and u just do it. And just bcuz it aint Littualrly in the quran,, doesnt mean its hallal. We know it causes cancer. But meat for example is halal, . It can cause cancer if u eat too much, but didnt muhammed saw also say to eat in moderate amounts? So it goes hand in hand. Smoking is nothing but harming yourself. Otherwise weed for fun is hallal, meth is hallal, cocain is hallal if u just do it moderately? NO, dont come to me with this kind of logic. If its used for medical purposed, its ok. But its haram bcuz u damage urself
So according to your those who suffer from insomnia and are put on bezos and addicted to it. Those medication are haram? If got wanted to make something haram. He will say it directly. Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah, and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. God does not run of words. Say, "If the sea were ink for [writing] the words of my Lord, the sea would be exhausted before the words of my Lord were exhausted, even if We brought the like of it as a supplement." [Say], "Then is it other than Allah I should seek as judge while it is He who has revealed to you the Book explained in detail?" And those to whom We [previously] gave the Scripture know that it is sent down from your Lord in truth, so never be among the doubters.
I say you the TRUTH. Haram * Haram = Halal, like multiplying negative numbers. So drinking alcohol - haram, but if you drinking and snacking with pork its halal. Drink*pork = halal
@@dimond5721 It's not the case if we talk about food consumption. We have a chemical reaction in our stomach while eating. Chemical reaction is closer to the multiplying. For instance you drunk a glass of milk and snacked it with some salt cucumbers (pickles). After a while you would get a very uncomfortable feelings. Nothing bad can be found in both fresh milk and pickles. But together they could bring some negative effects. Effects of different kinds of food doesn't combined they strengthened (or multiplied) by each other
Answer my questions? 1. Is wine halal or haram? Because I've read many blogs about muslim drinking it 2. Is non-alcoholic beer halal or haram? Again, there's a shop owned by muslims near my place that sell Budweiser non alcoholic beer. Please let me know
Botlle is not haram. You can put alcohol in bottle of milk, and that is haram. But you should watch more videos about this subject. This is my opinion based on lectures from youtube.
Alcohol is not Haram, alcoholic drinks are. We consume alcohol all day, in our bread, in fruits we eat etc. But these won't make us drunk. When an alcoholic product makes you drunk, that's when it's Haram.
If it doesn't have alcohol it's permissible. If you're thinking non alcoholic beer or root bear is not permissible than that's your personal opinion and the religion does NOT prohibit it. Wine without alcohol is grape juice.
Alcohol is a natural substance. It is in everything grain based such as breads, everything fermented such as yogurts, every juice such as apple juice and almost every type of fruit when ripe. Everything has a natural alcohol content. Every human body naturally produces its own alcohol too. The average adult body produces an ounce of PURE ethanol a day no matter your race, religion, creed, gender, height or weight. You can produce more depending on your diet and also produce slightly less. Some health conditions can cause your body to intoxicate itself with overconsumtion of grains and certain natural sugars. They stay in the digestive tract too long and overactive bacteria ferment them. Alcohol is not what is banned in your religion. Being intoxication knowingly is. Its what hinders your thought and reasoning. To produce or consume no alcohol is to be dead. No living human can avoid consumption of it nor can they stop producing it.
Is alcohol halal in paradise? ABDUL, WHY IS THE PARADISE OF ALLAH HAVING FLOWING RIVERS OF ALCOHOL? CHOOSE THE RIGHT ANSWER; 1. TO DRINK 4 DAYS A WEEK LIKE MUHAMAD? 2. TO SWIM IN IT? 3. TO THANK ALLAH FOR ALCOHOL? 4. TO SELL IT & MAKE MONEY?

Only if you have the genetic polymorphism for alcoholism or substance use disorders. I made two videos on the health effects of alcohol and Abu Hanifa's position on alcohol explained.
@@absnjie6100 Listen I have respect for Islam and think its a decent religion. So I’m not gonna say anything bad about it. But your definitely very mistaken on calling me lost. Just because I’m not interested in joining?? The reason I’m not interested is because I simply don’t believe its the truth and thats my opinion. But like I said I won’t ever disrespect islam.
@Alpha Dog Uhm no where are you getting that from? So you're saying, everyone who drinks a beer now and then is an alcoholic and everyone who uses drugs now and then is a drug addict?
Everything in this Dunya is a test that’s the main reason allah created stuff like that he wants to see if ur going to listen to ur desire or be pious to him
Good deeds and bad deeds & uncommit shirk as long no shirk involved, no major munafiq and you just commit sins he just punish you the bad deeds sins that you did. Depending on the weight either you take "Hell" for certain amount of time & be free later with Prophet Muhammad SAW PBUH to go paradise & Barkzah bridge in-between like a "Purgatory".
Just ignore the hadiths mate, just know that theres no god but god.., love all creation of allah, level up your spirituality, then start studying history of islam, then read the quran, then see if any of these hadith can improve well being or not.
@@illuminatethepath404 haha i remember whe A & W root beer came to bangladesh.. teenagers rushed to take pictures with the mug and pretending tk drink beer... lmao
what if a person is disciplined enough to always stay in moderation, whats the harm then in having a beer from time to time? I feel your implying its alright (of course not at times your praying).
Most cant handle.. too each there own... but the underlines message is that There is no God but God.. islam has over 100s of sects and sub sects, and if you research any of them, you have to read about each sect from there perception, then from outside sects perception.. then decide for yourself,, back in the days alot sect aloud women lead prayers and they prayed together with men, its really about self control... even before 911 i used to to mosque where men and women prayed next ro each other, its only fairly recently...that people in my city stopped.
You can drink and have fun its on to you allah never made alcohol prohibited it is upto us to decide what to do with this intoxicating drink rather he advice us to better stay away from it but never told us you can't drink I think allah made it a personal choice to have it or not.❤
Allah sanctioned drinking of alcohol, see verses below; 16:67 ''And of the fruits of the date-palms and the grapes, you obtain Alcoholic drinks and goods. Verily in that is a Sign for a people who use their understanding.'' There are tens of ahadiths proving that Muhammad drank alcoholic drinks. Here some examples. Muslim-3753: ''We were with the Prophet of Allah, and He was thirsty, and a man said: O prophet of Allah, Do you want to drink wine? Prophet of Allah said: Yes.The Man went to get the wine. The Prophet of Allah said: Make it Intoxicated. And He (Muhamad) Drank.”
Phil Souzam many people make up hadiths to frame Islam and justify their sins. Check your sources and see if they are proven to be trustable by truly just and knowledgeable Scholars
Does allah forbid drinking alcohol? It seems that he could not make up his mind. You may drink alcohol at least in wine (83:25), and allah organises rivers of delicious wine in paradise (47:15) and is good for people who reason (16:67). Drinking is not allowed during prayers (4:43). On the other hand, consuming alcohol (from satan ) should be avoided (5:90, not forbidden!) and is a great sin (2:219), although alcohol has benefit for people. 83:22-26: Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure. On adorned couches, observing. You will recognize in their faces the radiance of pleasure. They will be given to drink wine, sealed. The last of it is musk. 47:15 : Is the description of paradise, which the righteous are promised, wherein are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey, in which they will have from all fruits and forgiveness from their lord, like those who abide eternally in the fire and are given to drink scalding water that will sever their intestines? 16:67: And from the fruits of the palm trees and grapevines you take intoxicant and good provision. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who reason. 4:43: O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated until you know what you are saying or in a state of janabah, except those passing through, until you have washed. And if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and find no water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and your hands. 5:90: O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, stone alters, and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of satan, so avoid it that you may be successful. 2:219 They ask you about wine and gambling. Say, "In them is great sin and benefit for people. But their sin is greater than their benefit." And they ask you what they should spend. Say, "The excess." Thus allah makes clear to you the verses that you might give thought.
I am pretty sure the description of heaven is just a metaphor, its something we 3 dimensional creature won't understand, but God use the methapor in human language to explain it
This guy speaks without knowledge, meaning he speaks on my what he thinks. He doesn't go strictly by the rules of religion. No alcohol is no alcohol. Thats practical. Stop trying to be flexible to help iblis
Well, then why are you watching it? And there are many other well-known sheikhs who says so, and its mentioned in your books so follow it or dont follow it, so simple as that.
If you go to the literal meaning alcohol itself isn't impure, its the actions it does to you, but doing a little everyday would eventually lead you to have the addiction thus causing it a sinful act footprints of iblis. Same to say on anything things can be used for good and evil
